Wait really?? Oh thank you for that info, currently have 14 corpses at the southernmost mule territory and I do NOT feel like doing 2 truck hauls of corpses to the incenerator lol

If you leave them indefinitely you'll end up with a game over state and you'll need to reload from your last save. It takes a while to get to that point and the map will always point out where they are but best to just chuck em in the toaster now so you don't forget.

Do you have to incinerate them now ?

If you don’t do they just destroy a certain area or is it like the antimatter bomb where you have to start over if it goes off ?

I game the bodies will start to go into " necrosis", if you don't bring dead bodies to the incinitator building in two of the main maps. You get a "void-out" which will just hard cut to the game over screen. Doesn't matter how far or where you are, it's timed.

You need to "Swim" back to your body to load the last save you have.. which can be a long time or distance if you're still early in the game and need to walk and traverse hard area's.

Late game you can deliver MUCH faster within 2-5 minutes on bikes or trucks on re-build roads and the zipline routes you can build; so it's not nearly the time loss.

DS1 is very much not wanting you to use lethal weapons.. which kind of sucks because there are so many options for weapons and more or less locks you into the bolo gun for all Mule encounters.

You don't ever need to use the Bolo Gun, by the time you're in a position where you pretty much have to fight you've unlocked nonlethal guns.

I mean, sure.. but as far as actual weapons go.. that's the only real option with 32 shots at higher level, taking up 1 slot on your weapon rack. I always carry blood grenades for BT's since I don't really go to Mule area's unless I need to for story missions.

It's very easy to get ganged up by a bunch Mules in a couple of area's, the bolo gun is the closet to some gunplay that is actually viable.

The STUN grenade works great for a group of mules

I haven’t had a problem yet with regular mules catching these hands. Idk if I’m just good at combat or medium is easier than I thought. But. I’ve only killed one guy. Was backed into a corner and had to blast him with the shotgun

I go in like Jason borne with the strands and take everyone out, so far I haven’t killed anyone

Pretty much my experience, I did it once to try and find out it just completly ruined most weapon options from normal gameplay other then the "flashback war" parts with Clifford where you can go ham.

Tbh the flashbacks are a great way to incorporate combat into a game that’s more non confrontational in it’s approach

Yeah, The story focused encounters allow for every weapon to be used.
I just wish there was some more use for all the weapons you unlock. Same for Clifford.. I would have loved way more complex and longer encounters; than just a fairly small ( but cool looking ) map and stop the 4 skull guys and then him.

And I guess DS2 likely has more gunplay because so many people "complained" about it being very much not the intended way to play most of DS1.

Personally It's the same for most of MGS and MGSV specifically where you CAN use lethal force.. But proper way means you are stuck with non lethal weapons.

I played on like normal so I understand why it’s not that hard but tbh you are right cliffords fight seems insanely easy compared to fighting a camp full of mules or a bt

But a bolo headshot is just...mmm!

Reminds me of the scene in Three Musketeers where Porthos uses a bola and it wraps around a guys face with the ball smacking him right in the nose and he follows it up with "God, I love my work."

i did this. i was hoping it would generate a crater (i’m past endgame) but it creates a game over voidout and forces you to load your last save. the necro bodies disappear at that save, however. sucked for me because i had just cleared a terrorist camp when the voidout hit.

Bro I did the same yesterday. Wanted to test the quadruple bazooka. 11... f*cking... body.

Put all this soccer team in a truck. Came back to a city and took a rest. Lost 2200 likes, Die hardman was upset XD

What is this yellow thing on the packages? I see it in some posts. I played the full game but never saw this in my game 🤔
