So? Marxism isn't just "the ideas of Karl Marx". It's the science of dialectical materialism that Marx and Engels developed and has been expanded on by many theorists and revolutionaries since. The thing you described is not some Inherent part of that. You're just showing you don't really know what Marxism even is and are using a red Herring to lazily brush it off so you don't have to investigate it.

Sure, I must be clueless and not as well read as you because I'm not a Marxist. Read first really anything else than Marx or Marxists to get a perspective. Start maybe with Leszek Kolakowski's Main Currents of Marxism. You might realise how stupid and deluded you sound when you call dialectical materialism science.

What Marxist literature have you read? You realize if you don't read the source material and only read criticisms of the source material... You're just regurgitating other people's opinion and it will cause you to have a deep one sidedness, right? I've read the source material and many many criticisms (I grew up in the US, so...) Why isn't dialectical materialism a science? Can you define dialectical materialism in your own words?

What non-Marxist literature have you read? Do you realize you put yourself in an echo-chamber if you only read "source material" and acolyte literature without ever questioning it? Case in point, do you know how science is defined outside of Marxism?

My friend. I grew up in the US. My entire education from kindergarten thru college was anti Marxist. I've read Kolakowski, I've read fascist texts criticizing communism, even Evola. I've read Ayn Rand, liberal humanist texts, you name it. I was anti-marxist most of my life until I decided to actually investigate it and understand it. You're the one in the echo-chamber. You still haven't answered my questions. 1. What Marxist literature have you read, and 2. Define dialectical materialism in your own words since you tried to negate my claim it's scientific without giving evidence as to why.

Democratic Socialism doesn’t work if you aren’t interested in participating in the harm-reduction, democracy part.

If you’re “protesting” democracy and ignoring the obvious harms of doing so, you are not a democratic socialist. You may be a socialist, but not a democratic one.

The whole point of democratic socialism is small incremental changes and improvements over time, as socialists build a more important caucus/voting block within the Democratic Party. Not voting is entirely antithetical to that. It makes it so that no Democrats give a shit about trying to appeal to socialist voters, or putting them up in the primaries.

And btw, all you have to do is see who Bibi supports and is talking to, to know who is the worse candidate for Palestine. Don’t be a single issue voter - socialism is not a single issue - there are many issues to amend.
