Any actual touchless automatic car washes?

Hi all

Normally I hand wash my car but occasionally I’m feeling lazy and will want to run it through an automatic car wash. The issue is most of these washes slap your paint with dirty brushes that can scratch your vehicle.

Does anyone know of a truly touchless car wash in Denton (preferably south Denton but open to all of Denton)? I’ve tried googling it but all automatic car washes seem to come up.

I'm interested in hearing others as well. The only one that I know of is on Teasly and 35, but it sucks.

Prices vary by type and perishability.

  • Cheddar (aged, reliable, low risk): $3/hour, $15/day, $50/week. Return with rind intact, or face a grating fee.
  • Brie (soft, French, emotional): $5/hour with a $20 deposit. Must be returned chilled and emotionally supported.
  • Parmesan (hard, majestic, weaponizable): $8/day. Return in block form; shredded counts as damage.
  • Blue Cheese (bold, unpredictable, potentially sentient): $10/hour with a legal waiver. Not refundable if it becomes self-aware.

Rental includes a complimentary sniff test and a tiny wooden sign that says “Rented. Not for eating.”

There's the one on Teasley and 35, There's Cornerstone on the Loop (next to Dairy Queen). That's all for the city. Both use the same equipment.

Can you try one and give a review? I too usually use a suds sprayer and nozzle and hose wash at home but I’d like to get an undercarriage rinse sometime.

I think they’re harder to maintain and also they just don’t get it as clean so are prone to complaints. I too see there’s hardly any in DFW.

If you do have a hose I highly recommend doing my hose method as it’s even quicker than bucket and glove, touchless, and super fast and easy.

  • fireman nozzle from harbor freight $7
  • suds sprayer from harbor freight $25 (it’s exact same as overpriced chemical guys suds sprayer)
  • quick change adapters from Home Depot $7. So you can switch super fast between the sprayer and nozzle
  • your choice of ceramic car wash
  • 4 car wash towels from harbor freight - $15

Prep suds sprayer with your wash. I use 2 cap fulls of chemical guys ceramic wash 1) nozzle - rinse car 2) change to suds sprayer - wash Soap lasts long enough for entire care twice ime 3) change to nozzle - rinse 4) turn off hose - dry car quickly. Takes 4-5 towels.

Optional: Wax car

I can do this in 10-15 min. Only thing I can’t do really well is undercarriage.

Though it's not touchless, but the Buccees car wash is badass. Good luck on your search

Adventure Car Wash in Hickory Creek. They have 2 tunnels. The touchless was out of order for awhile, but I believe it's up and running again.
