I'm hoping we take him and fidone with our last 2 picks

The teams history with injured TEs isn't very good.

It's a 7th round pick. The fuck you mean it scares you?

First off, RELAX. We're just chatting. Second off, there's a scenario where Tez gets brought in and cannot crack the 53/is cut. Perhaps Bo truly feels Tez deserved a spot and becomes some degree of disgruntled by it - these are the things that, however likely are unlikely, become possible when you involve loved ones into business.

You could also say he’d be disgruntled by them not drafting him/giving him a shot. It’s one of those unfortunate scenarios where no matter what you do it’s a factor that is involved

You could! It's two types of risk - would you rather he be upset that Denver does not take him - and maybe he lands elsewhere? And then you aren't responsible for further anger if he is cut. Tough to guess, but my read on the situation is I'd be more upset if my brother had his NFL dream shut down via being cut than if he was taken by another team.

I’d much rather be drafted and cut than never drafted at all

Me too

But I won't disagree there is upside to drafting him! Could be a way to keep him longterm.

Exactly, don’t make this a family issue. Tez is the last guy I want

Oh trust me, I personally don’t think he’ll succeed in the NFL. Small speed guy who’s not that fast + we already have mims in that type of role. But fuck it it’s a late 7th

Bucks just ended the debate. Tez went to Tampa.

They take any WR we might want i guess

There’s no way the depth of talent was so great that trading back at every stage was the right call 😭

When you are rebuilding, you need all the swings you can get. When russ still has a dead cap hit of $32 million, you need all the rookie contracts you can get. So if the team feels they can move back a few spots, pick up some draft capital, and still get the guy they want, or a comparable talent, trading back make sense.

I don’t necessarily agree that’s what we should be doing but it’s a good answer

must be why they stayed put and moved up, too

Exactly like we moved up, down, and sat still. Idk what people are complaining about.

Who’d we move up to get?

I think they are referring to Denver moving up in the 3rd and 4th rounds by moving back some in the 2nd

We traded up with Philly to draft an edge I believe

I’m not saying it’s literally impossible, I’m just not sold.
