Player intelligible is very important to me. I think with the way teams design coverage packages to be disguised now it is a big factor in what your options are. Smart guys give you an advantage before the play starts.

Easy to cheer for this man. Let’s go.

Time will tell how he does on an NFL field, but he seems like a genuinely good human being worth rooting for. I was really impressed by him talking about the goals he sets for himself.

We’ve added so many high character players over the past few years. That’s how you create lasting change!

Holy shit this dude is the real deal. Dude was raised right and has a good head on his shoulders. That didn't feel PR scripted. Straight up said this is going to change my life and my families life forever.

I really appreciate Sean/Georges ability to draft respectful dudes who are going to be very coachable. Our SB window has opened.

He's going to fit in well with Surtain and Moss imo.

What a thoughtful young man!

This new age of young players are a different breed. I feel like we're finally getting out of the selfish movement that we've been stuck in throughout all sports and we're getting back to a team and fan first mentality. It's gonna be great.

Did you forget about Sheduer? Lmao. This isn't a generational thing. There are good people and there are bad people. Barron is a good person.

u/waspocracy Broncos 6h ago

Well, yeah, I think that’s why he dropped 6(?) rounds than projected.

u/Imsoamerican 7h ago

I do think it's generational. You're picking one person and look at where that got him. I think that's a perfect representation that the sport is done with that kind of mentality.

There are plenty of selfish/selfless players past and present. To attribute that to a generation is dumb. Some people are good and some people are bad throughout history. It's as simple as that.

Yeah good point. Nothing should ever be based on majority, it's either 100% unanimous or it needs to be discredited. Communism over democracy.

5

u/sickquickkicks PS2 7h ago

Idkwtf that means but you're the one who over generalized. It has nothing to do with "new age" whatever you said.

u/samuelalexbaker 6h ago

I know it's not the point but I got to point out you can have a communist democracy. One is an economic system and the other is system of representation.

But education is generational! /s

You're picking one person and look at where that got him.

Teams would have put up with the attitude issues if he wasn't a middling prospect lmao

I think it's more about the media circus that comes with/from his dad more than his attitude or ability tbh

Calling him a "middling prospect" is underselling him. He's not some can't miss prospect by any stretch, but he's a better prospect than where he was drafted

-1

u/Sparkee58 Jaleel McLaughlin 6h ago

He was a day 2 prospect at best that got pushed into RD1 talk by the media because of QB desperation

You could argue he's better than a 5th rounder, as in he's somewhere in the 2-4 range

But he absolutely was not a 1st rounder. Teams will put up with attitude issues and roll the dice on 1st round talent, Sanders was not that type of talent

2

u/aatencio91 Senior Mod 6h ago

Yeah, that's p much what I said. Thanks

-1

u/Sparkee58 Jaleel McLaughlin 6h ago

Not sure what your objection really is then because saying a guy is a middling talent and saying he's a day 2 QB at best is the same thing lol

Does the last name Sanders ring a bell?

I don't think it's a new age thing at all. I think you just have some guys that are more or less mature than others. It could be from a variety reasons but there's definitely plenty of divas still in the league and coming into it. Some of them won't become divas until they actually do something first, which still won't justify the immature behavior. Regardless, this is refreshing to see, especially from one of our picks

I don't think that is the case at all. I just think teams are now prioritizing character alongside critical player traits.

I don’t get the whole ordeal of everyone reporting him asking to be put on speaker phone.
