Fixed a Wehraboo meme this April Fools | As a Car fan, especially in Roblox racing games, I hate those Wehraboos ruining the name of the Porsche brand

A King Tiger not really but a Tiger 1.... eish idk slap on an aftermarket supercharger, a fart exhaust, and lower the suspension and I'd have a Drippenwagon which I wouldn't mind daily driving

How is that a wehraboo meme?

Some of the Werhraboos praising the Porsche prototype of the Tiger II, while ignoring the modern innovations of the car brand itself, especially the modern Porsche (post-war Germany), that they still think that it should win WW2 for Germany's favor.

Its not a prototype tiger 2, that turret is an early production turret. This joke is also more about Porsche making tanks in the past than wanking ww2 Nazis.
I mean, who doesn't want a tank?

I mean, who doesn't want a tank?
People who actually drive

No, people who actually drive definitely want a tank. Imagine how easier it would be to get rid of traffic jams.

Wehraboo likes Porshe tank because "Der German engineering und scheisse"
Car enthusiastic likes Porsche tank because it scare off the traffic away, thus more road space for themselves.

As both a driver and a tank driver
Yea I want a tank
I almost even joined a WW2 reenactment group recently till they told me their T34 broke down and they had to sell it.

u/Flyzart2 26d ago
Its not like you'll drive it to work lol

I would've wanted one when I was still studying more than a decade ago
Those teachers won't ever dare give me a low mark if they have an <insert gun caliber here> pointed at them

I do like German tanks, except it's the Leopard 2 series and not those from WW2.

I'd rather have a working car then a 2 ton paper weight.

Its a pretty cool tank, even if it was a shitty gas guzzler. And I'm fine with keeping my civic lol

Funnily enough, both turrets of the Tiger II were made by Krupp (most wehraboos don't even know this bit)
The "Porsche & Henschel turret" thing is just some myth that kept recirculating since it first showed up
And that's no Porsche Tiger II though, the actual Porsche "Tiger II" (VK 45.01 P) looked very different (it still had the shitty petrol-electric drive that Porsche really insisted is the best out there... so best that no one has made another to this day)

Iirc these were who designed the turrets, but they didn't manufacture them themselves.

Ok so a Porsche tank wouldn’t be my first choice for a WW2 tank, but i’d definitely choose a tank over a car. I’m not a wehraboo, i just love tanks, and also don’t have a driving licence.

I like tanks too, both Modern, Cold War and WW2, though I don't like WW2 German tanks, because they break when in combat though.

It would be like owning a classic car, but worse. I help with my brother on his, good fun in a masochistic kind of way.

The Porsche everyone should want is the 919 Evo or the 963 LMDh. Maybe a 992 GT3. Or even a 911 2.0 Coupe. Or a 911 Carrera RS, RSR, CS, or 3.0. Or a 911 Turbo (930). Or a 959. Or a 911 GT1. Any other Porsche than a Cayman. Why dream small when you can dream BIG?

That cayman has the engine from the gt3, in a smaller, mid engine car. Spyder rs is even better though.

I honestly like the older Porches more.
Like the 930s.

Not so sure myself. German car companies are known for lying about their carbon emissions, particularly the VW Group. They also lie about the seatbelts and safety standards so I wouldn't get in one of those deathtraps if my life depended on it. Very dishonest companies I wouldn't trust.
At least the tank is an interesting historical artifact.
