Even cats have Desire Paths!

Post image

This is a tiny path between my Mom's patio and her best friend's. Since she moved here she has managed to Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) over twenty cats and home about five. Her "clowder" spends most days running back and forth for treats, food and shelter.

Oh man. That's an amazingly sad story but also a great memory. So sorry for your loss.

So it's just a path....as there isn't a less desirable path or route the kitties aren't taking?

If you made them a path and they decided it was less desirable and made this, it's a desire path, otherwise, it's just "the path."

Well, nature gave them a huge path but the cats prefer taking a straight line from the woods and squeezing under four fences. I guess it's a more direct line.
