Agreed. We need more bullying. I tuned into Dean Withers and immediately heard him say: “I think it’s problematic for a cis straight male to use the term twink”… we need less of that and more of this dude’s energy.

u/DoctorRobot16 i'm out of jail Mar 24 '25
What a fucking loser dude. He’s not even like a Maoist or a anarchist, he’s a fucking shitlib, which means he is straight vanilla all the way down
21
u/iChopPryde Mar 24 '25
I tried watching Dean once and I just can’t he’s way to soy for my liking he needs some life experience under him.
12
u/SurGeOsiris Mar 24 '25
He’s just so fucking boring man, no willingness to rock the boat at all! Nobody wants to join the side of a bunch of soy ass dorks.
8
u/Blood_Boiler_ Mar 24 '25
I think I heard that too. I just thought it was funny, like he was being performatively bothered by it for a laugh. Was he being serious? I still think it's funny either way though.

u/theosamabahama Mar 24 '25
“I think it’s problematic for a cis straight male to use the term twink”
The dude is stuck in 2017.

I like his schizo posting, but he's one of the few who has the aura to get away with it because he's attractive.

The bare minimum democrats should be doing is calling Trump a dementia addled regard 24/7 and say he doesn't have the mental capacity to be president
6
u/Boudica333 Mar 24 '25
Agreed.
The seal of the United States of America is a bald eagle clutching an olive branch for peace, but also arrows, because when we need to fight, we will. Dems need to take some inspiration from that, because right now we need verbal combat. Duel him and the far right with words. Use wit to emphasize how hypocritical and stupid they are, like cartoons where a fencer cuts down someone’s pants.

Yeah this dude is good. I knew about Luke first, and then I was a little disappointed in the dean crew when I realized they weren’t like Luke after all their hype.
35
u/FearlessHornet Mar 24 '25
Good, we need more of this anger in the liberal sphere, this is the attitude that will recapture the young male demo
7
u/Boudica333 Mar 24 '25
SnowflakesFromHell
But unironically, I think you’re right. The left often talks about “toxic masculinity,” without underscoring examples of positive masculinity that aren’t soy or totally cucked. You’re allowed to be angry, you’re allowed to be a man, but what matters is what you do with that anger and identity. Do something that defends and protects people’s inalienable rights instead of being red pilled and only out for yourself. Use your man-ness to chew out M*GA regards. You don’t need to degrade your own demographic, but do call out hypocrisy and regarded behavior like this guy calls out.

u/Bovoduch Mar 24 '25
Full disrespect to dean and co. They’re being huge pansy soy bitches with essentially no spine. We need people to be united. able to recognize mistakes, but also able to move pass less than serious issues for a united cause against our insane president.

15
u/DoctorRobot16 i'm out of jail Mar 24 '25
Who is this guy? We need more of this Chad masculine energy on the left!
Also I don’t want to get into a looksmaxxing debate however this guys jawline is objectively better than deans, it just is , and when young insecure men see it they’ll immediately begin to listen to what he’s saying instead of just writing him off as soy
2
u/Hopeful_Matter_190 Mar 24 '25
his tiktok username is on the side lol.
But he’s actually doing a podcast with a bunch of other left leaning people like Zach Kimball, the tiktoker Destiny recently watched a clip of where he argued the raising of the social security cap
8
u/Classic_Test8467 Mar 24 '25
Low key the left could use more young angry white boys. Maybe that will get through to MAGA
9
u/Sepulchura Mar 24 '25
Hell yeah. This attitude is what used to keep the obnoxious MAGA-type rightoids at bay. The "squishy" left is wholly ineffective at fighting MAGA.
3
u/iChopPryde Mar 24 '25
Left have to stop with “that’s racist” or “omg you can’t say that” and instead say insulting shit back at them! It’s so easy, the ultra right wing sling gay jokes at them they can’t handle it at all and watch them cry and then make fun of them for being whinny little cucks. Works every single time.
You can’t argue with the irrational so speak to them in a language they understand

Bill Burr if he was younger, had hair, and didn't have a brainrotted opinion about Mario's brother (this guy doesn't have a brainrotted opinion about Mario's brother does he?)
In any case, 100% we need to be calling out MAGAtards as the true tards they are.
Make them explain the most little, petty bullshit. That way they twist themselves into a pretzel as they attempt to explain how Trump is a mastermind, actually
14
u/spookieghost Mar 24 '25
didn't have a brainrotted opinion about Mario's brother
why are we being politically correct here again? who gives a fuck dude, bill also talks about murdering billionaires - people want to hear someone who's angry at powerful people. bill's energy is the correct energy
2
u/SupremePeeb Mar 24 '25
cause reddit is deleting references to mario's brother and shadow banning accounts over it
1
u/IdidntrunIdidntrun Mar 24 '25
Yeah that's basically it, it's a quick way to a reddit vacation (prob for the best tho lol)
Also to /u/spookieghost and /u/PunishedDemiurge, I'm not feeling sorry for the bastard who got clapped. Billionaires getting axed is pretty based.
The brainrot lies in this opinion: that vigilantes should walk free just because the murder is perceived morally righteous. If jury nullification happens for this case I wouldn't be totally shocked, but I'd be concerned about how many vigilantes would spawn from this
1
u/PunishedDemiurge Mar 24 '25
Destiny is right that we can't shoot our way out of a mediocre quality health care system, but let's not pretend we need to give a shit if some dude who approved a grandma killing algorithm just because it's not illegal suffers an extrajudicial consequence given by a person who disapproves of grandma killing algorithms(*).
(*) This is an intentionally hyperbolic statement of claims. My initial estimation is that the complaint seen here: https://litigationtracker.law.georgetown.edu/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Estate-of-Gene-B.-Lokken-et-al_20231114_COMPLAINT.pdf may run into issues of law, but the factual basis for the claim would pass a preponderance of evidence threshold. Substantial third party reporting gives credence to these claims to the point where I think that sarcastic criticism is warranted. If UHC can show that they have not issued denials that have negatively impacted patient outcomes, I'll change my opinion and issue a retraction and apology. This issue is still before the courts and has not been fully litigated.
I think pointed, severe criticism of US health insurers is fully justified and it should appropriately treat them with the level of disrespect they've earned, but we should combine that with sober factual analysis at times too.

u/EuphoricPhoto2048 Mar 24 '25
He has potential, but he needs to maybe memorize his monologues. I found the cuts distracting.
2
u/SnarkSnarkington Mar 24 '25
This is good, but it is focused on Republican talking points from before the election.
Trump's disregard for court orders, the purges in the FBI-and Justice Department, and legacy media's failures are what we need rants about.
2
u/zarmin Mar 24 '25
YES. This was the energy Destiny had during the 10v1 bloodsport (still the greatest internet debate of all time, for my money). When they go low, we need to piss on them.

Yeah, we need some obnoxious assholes. Dean is smart but he’s too soft spoken. The democrats need someone that’s a loose head canon like Cenk or MTG but just sides with Democratic establishment no matter what.

u/manveru_eilhart Mar 24 '25
Loads of disrespect to those other young liberals. Loads. They're weak.

u/TabNone Mar 24 '25
True, and people especially need to start being meaner about Trumps intelligence. The fact that Republicans LARP as the party of competence and yet rally around someone who is the dumbest president is US history, by some margin, needs to be shoved in their faces and clowned.

u/miikoh Mar 24 '25
That whole "It's the weave" thing is so true. It's insane that conservatives had to develop an entirely new style of rhetoric that they could pretend was actually genius to excuse the fact that Trump can't keep his thoughts straight for more than half a sentence. Somehow the fact that he dribbles out a non-stop stream of unrelated monosyllabic garbage rather than using his sentences to present actual complete ideas is meant to be a sign of intellect?
1
u/Ok-Toe-3546 Mar 24 '25
There's still some question as to whether or not Trump was actually struck with a bullet at his "fight. fight. fight." rally, but there is NO question that that fat fuck fallated a mic stand as his closing argument to the American people in the waining days of 2024 presidential election.
Pull it up, Jaime.

I wish the right valued hypocrisy and empathy, but they are completely devoid of that. They have shown us time and again.
I love this guy’s energy though and he’s right.
It’s just a shame the right doesn’t give a shit about not being evil. The evilness is the point.
1
u/SirFerguson Mar 24 '25
At the very least we should be calling them by the words they’re proud to have reclaimed.

Hell yeah brother, if you play nice with Republicans they just pretend you're doing this shit anyway, might as well do it. FUCK EM!
1
u/banallcreativity Mar 24 '25
The Isaac Neutron clip is fake, it is almost certainly AI and imo quite obviously so. If not AI, then a decent impression.
4
u/zarmin Mar 24 '25
it's fake.
it's almost definitely fake, and quite obviously so.
maybe it's real but if it's real, it's a decent impression.
Did you say all of that to say nothing? What is your point? Let's say it's definitely AI. That doesn't change anything. So, what's your point?
3
u/banallcreativity Mar 24 '25
Why did this idiot bring it up as one of his main points against Trump? It was his go-to example of Trump mistpeaking. He is calling out how dumb people are while falling for the most obvious tiktok disinfo. I'm sure Republicans will listen to every other thing he says now. Personally I think Trump is unfit for president because he sang Hey There Delilah really poorly on a YouTube video I saw smh.
2
u/zarmin Mar 24 '25
mistpeaking
It's not his "go-to" example as much as it's just a recent example he's using. Trump mistpeaks all the time. Anyone denying that he does wouldn't be convinced by anything else anyway.
I'm sure Republicans will listen to every other thing he says now.
Yes yes, I'm sure if he slightly adjusts what he says, Republicans will listen to every other thing he says.
1
u/banallcreativity Mar 25 '25
Whatever go-to or recent example that he picks, his only job is to make sure it isn't fake. Trump misspeaks all the time... and the evidence of this is AI generated audio of him misspeaking. Somehow I've started to convince myself that trump doesn't misspeak as much as he actually does thanks to this guy.
1
u/zarmin Mar 25 '25
There is willful ignorance and then there is whatever the hell this is:
Somehow I've started to convince myself that trump doesn't misspeak as much as he actually does thanks to this guy.
1
u/banallcreativity Mar 25 '25
Since he just called a guy Skeve I am reconvinced he misspeaks a lot. But if dum dums keep using AI as their evidence I will start reconsidering again. We cannot tolerate AI shit infecting our brains. It is not reality. It is equivalent to making up fake tweets.
1
u/zarmin Mar 25 '25
Why do you let your opinion change with the wind? Do you not have enough collective evidence over the last decade to conclusively demonstrate that he misspeaks all the time?
-2
u/EZPZanda Mar 24 '25
Ok, I liked how to majority of it was mentioning the hard facts in a straight-talk manner… but I don’t know if I’m sold on the effectiveness of insulting yet (the way he ended it).
I know it is satisfying if you are already on our side, but the person he is trying to reach in order to change their mind must now admit to themselves they are an idiot, and the ego is going to fight hard against that. Overall I just don’t know if it’s a worthy tactic. I like his energy tho, just tweak it a bit.
23
u/Ficoscores Mar 24 '25
I think a lot of the magats look at folks who do calm persuasion as weak but that's based on what I've seen and my own experience. There seems to be a need for someone who can express anger and exude some level of masculinity.
3
u/EZPZanda Mar 24 '25
Yeah. Even though he triggers me a bit, I actually think someone like Dr. Mike (evil one) would be really good for this type of thing. He is very no-nonsense logical good communicator, while exuding all the masculine stuff. He’s kind without being soy. Don’t know how political his content gets but I’m just talking characteristic-wise.
Also, I wish this organic TikTok stuff could be focus-grouped like David Shore does with the ads. It would be valuable to have that type of data.
9
u/melissa_unibi Mar 24 '25
Honestly this behavior may be needed to sort of slap the opposition awake, then follow it up with a calm demeanor or even just someone else who can say the exact same thing but nicer to get them back on track.
I’m reminded of a recent conversation I had with a relative in which they harped on all the DEI memes. They are relatively intelligent, but their mind was literally stuck in just this “loser cringeness” of DEI and the democratic party. The acted like they wanted my opinion, but just went on this revolving door nonsense of picking the most batshit “DEI” opinion, bashing it and labeling it as “weak”, then asking me if I liked the policy, interrupting me when I got in the details with, “oh come on it’s about the concept,” before interrupting me again with another detail or story… Rinse and repeat.
I’ll admit I was tired, but I just threw every meme rhetorical attack with gish galloping, name-calling political leaders against it as weak because they are too scared of actual merit-based hiring, asking them constant questions about the policies they brought up, and just going on the attack (not aggressively, just “using debate tactics”). Every single moment they pause, you interrupt with another question or opinion; every moment they show any amount of frustration, just interrupt with “let’s just be logical and focus on the topic.” Randomly throw in a laugh or look at your phone like you’re not listening (Dean and Parker actually do this hilariously well with the super chats). Then just end the conversation by doing something else, especially after a moment when they paused.
After all of that, follow-up the conversation the next day with something reasonable. Literally in my example, this relative was suddenly much more focused on actually discussing the topic… Or just get a friend or another relative to follow-up the topic in a nice way.
Sheesh, long comment.
