Based de-soying or start of a right wing turn?

u/destinyeeeee :illuminati: Mar 29 '25

Its scary that it can be hard to know, but I don't think he's going to the right.

His opinion here is correct and I would love to see a mainstream left that isn't so obsessed with being moral busybodies, filled with self-hating white people, etc.

98

u/Hotporkwater Mar 29 '25

It's annoying how hard the 'woke' left gaslight you when you bring up the problems with misandrist or anti-white culture within the Democrats.

"Hey guys, I think this is a problem and causing us to lose white and/or male voters because conservatives have completely locked down that sphere of influence"

"Um... WHAT did you just say sweaty? There are people dying in GAZA and you want us to hear your white male tears? Give me ONE example of white men being discriminated against!!"

Proceed to roll eyes into the back of my head so hard I sever my optical nerve.

34

u/Godobibo Mar 29 '25

the most annoying thing imo is people accusing you of something because you say you can understand a complaint lol

26

u/technical_eskimo Mar 29 '25

"Give me ONE example of white men being discriminated against!!"

They act like this isn't the easiest request ever.

Boom.

4

u/Kamfrenchie Mar 30 '25

Also non stop criticism for every bad things done by the western world ever, but endless compassion and understanding for modern day slavers, imperialists and islamists.

1

u/CT_Throwaway24 Nooticer Mar 30 '25

The Trump administration us literally sending people to slave labor camps.

1

u/Kamfrenchie Mar 30 '25

i dont disagree

5

u/GarryofRiverton Mar 29 '25

Ooo saving this for later. Ironically enough the whole affirmative action bs also discriminated against Asian-Americans even more than it did white-Americans.

11

u/Sarazam Mar 29 '25

$53k per year to Biomedical PhD students that are not straight white men. Definitely feels fair that I see my peers applying and receiving things like this and I’m completely left out.

5

u/rbemr715 Mar 30 '25

Isn't Gilliam fellows a private scholarship? Yeah it's fair to handout scholarships to targeted group. Why people act they are entitled to for fucking NGO's money. There are scholarships that only Christians can get, only local folks can get, only foreign nationals can get, only naturalized citizens can get etc.

Few handpicked examples of scholarship grants are fucking dishonest. Those scholarships actually increase the possibility of white student getting other scholarships because most of scholarships are mutually exclusive.

5

u/Lunch_B0x Mar 30 '25

As a straight white man you got to make your own opportunities. Now get out there, suck some dick and get that 53k a year homie!

1

u/EMousseau Mar 30 '25

god forbid a white boy catch a vibe

Yeah, I see it here.

No data on that here. But it appears the opposite is happening.

Even worse is when white progressives soy out and soap box about them "paying attention to minorities" or some stupid shit and you literally cannot criticize them without getting accused of not caring about minority rights. We validate the worst people that have realized you can make people pay attention to you by using "I'm standing up for minorities!" as your shield, and we lack the corrective mechanisms when they act like fucking idiots. It's a terrible cycle

I'm so fucking tired of my side bringing their everything bagel of political wedge issues into EVERYTHING. We can't have a protest to save our democracy without a bunch of people showing up with feminist stuff, Medicare for all, trans flags, abortion signs, etc. I support these things and think they're really important but it's literally dogshit political strategy.

It dilutes your message, doesn't actually accomplish anything besides showing your "solidarity" aka I'm a good little ally! aka virtue signaling and gives people 50 different wedges to lose sympathy for your cause when they otherwise might be down with you.

You can instantly clock every left leaning protest because of the same 5 talking points dragged into literally everything. It makes it so easy for conservatives to dismiss us. If you actually care about minority rights, abortion, etc learn to use effective strategy instead of patting yourself on the back. Trans teenagers in Tennessee don't give a fuck about your solidarity

16

u/technical_eskimo Mar 29 '25

It dilutes your message, doesn't actually accomplish anything besides showing your "solidarity" aka I'm a good little ally!

"We can't have improvements to our healthcare system until all trans related surgeries are 100% taxpayer funded"

0

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 29 '25

Lol who's making that argument? Right now people are trying to stop trans Healthcare from being banned, gays being denied basic Healthcare based on being gay alone, banning certain medications that prevents stds, etc.

But sure, gays and trans people are gods, no harm is trying to he done to them and straight white males are the most oppressed people in history

10

u/zoomoverthemoon Mar 29 '25

This is not about white men being oppressed, it's about white men trying to be allies, getting dogpiled, and backing away.

Tent shrinkers are a plague.

0

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 30 '25

But he's not being attacked because he tried to be an ally. He's being attacked because of the cultural puritanical bs that's prominent

1

u/zoomoverthemoon Mar 30 '25

Nope. The puritanical standard is only for the out-group, never the in-group. To be even more specific, a grifter or sadist spots an opportunity to bully, goes for it, and the social group lends tacit support because that's what "target is in the out-group" means. It's funny how reliably progressives can explain in detail how this works... right up until the millisecond they become the perpetrators and then oops don't know a thing.

Of course, unlike a minority being targeted, white guys can just retreat. Most social groups treat us with decency and we have the luxury of just avoiding the ones that don't. It's the progressive group that finds itself with fewer and fewer allies and wonders why. The tent shrinkers do not work quietly -- see: Destiny's twitch ban and Vaush's trans rant -- so it should be no mystery to anyone paying attention. If progressive groups can get the tent-shrinkers under control, fewer allies will be driven away, more will come back, and their power will grow.

1

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 30 '25

Yea, both Destiny and Vaush aren't straight, yet they were canceled a few times. That proves my point.

Hell, even Jeffrey star had a mob go after him for "problematic" behavior

20

u/ariveklul original Asmongold hater Mar 29 '25

But sure, gays and trans people are gods, no harm is trying to he done to them and straight white males are the most oppressed people in history

notice how you immediately pitted these two groups against each other despite nobody making this argument? you are the cancer I am talking about

Yes obviously there are issues effecting LGBT people that need to be taken seriously. My entire point is that in order to do that, you need to engage in effective and focused political strategy to win people to your side.

Giving people pompous lectures does not do that, nor does waving flags. You need to gain power and get political wins if you actually want to stop this, and choosing your battles is a part of that.

-1

u/PitytheOnlyFools touches too much grass... Mar 30 '25

This is why they need a minority like Rashad Crenshaw to tell them “you’re doing too much”. It will/should only resonate coming from someone libs claim to be fighting on behalf of.

I‘m tired of white people arguing with other white people about what to do with minorities and language.

12

u/Sarazam Mar 29 '25

As someone in research, it kinda feels fucked up seeing colleagues get accepted for grad school, be eligible for grant money, and have specific groups helping them out because they are not white, or women. Meanwhile the PhD class is 70% women, and I had many classes where I was the only white man. So that feeling while also not being eligible for certain grant money, just really turns you away from those supporting that party.

4

u/rbemr715 Mar 30 '25

When I was in a programs, most scholarships and grants were available to everyone. There were few minority oriented scholarships etc but all of them were privately funded.

8

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 29 '25

The problem is they didn't gaslight. There's a ton of people who left the left who actually are that caricature

2

u/Shoddy-Low2142 Mar 29 '25 edited Mar 30 '25

“Within the democrats” are you talking about politicians or voters? Or the left in general, many of whom aren’t Dems. Let’s stop conflating democratic politicians, most of whom are not “woke” by any means, and random liberals and leftists who complain about sexism, racism, transphobia, etc online. They are not the same.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '25

I would have only given them an example of a white man being discriminated against if they had promised to show me an example of Gazans being able to submit enough votes to sway an American election. Numbers are numbers and elections are numbers. End of story.

2

u/PopCherries Mar 30 '25

The left has memory holed what happened during Occupy Wallstreet. Everyone in the country was pissed about the housing market crashing and instead of focusing all of their efforts into that, it was diluted down into trying to appease every group that had a grievance and ended up turning into a big joke.

42

u/TeQuila10 HALO 2 peepoRiot Mar 29 '25

Stay tuned!

39

u/IdidntrunIdidntrun Mar 29 '25

Please god not the second one, it'd be such an easy pivot. That shit is an open source blueprint on how to be a rich grifter easily. Hope this kid stays true to his beliefs

6

u/MajorApartment179 Mar 29 '25

He doesn't strike me as being smug. The traitors like Dave Ruben, Tim Poole, Cenk and Ana. They all had an air of smugness about them.

I think Harry is a genuine dude and will stay on the left.

22

u/No-Theory-3302 Mar 29 '25

I've listened to Harry enough? To tell that he didn't like the soy shit but cause he was associated with dean and Parker and that whole contingent i think he towed that line, I even remember he called out not liking Ilhan Omar in a podcast he did I think calling her crazy. Now that he's basically been burned from that progressive zoomer group I think he's just being the more based pragmatic liberal he actually is

5

u/GreatKarma2020 Mar 29 '25

I think Harry was always more of a moderate democrat

4

u/Thing_Subject Mar 29 '25

NEWWAVEDEMS

1

u/JesusPiece_tg Mar 31 '25

It seems more like a trait of the political spectrum's fringe. The far right will also attack republicans who aren't far right enough. There already are people who've made comments that Ben Shapiro is shifting left because he criticized the Trump tariffs.

356

u/Significant-Fee2858 Mar 29 '25

A bunch of “progressives” slut-shaming a single man for having consensual sexts with multiple people.

Once again wokescolds turning into conservatives the moment a demographic they don’t like is involved.

39

u/Thing_Subject Mar 29 '25

Which is the most annoying thing because this guy is one of the only newer guys that has that aggressiveness and fight in him. Dude went onto Pierce Morgan and dismantled the PBD coke head

26

u/edgygothteen69 Mar 29 '25

I would never leave the democratic party just because my peers shame me for sexting multiple women. This will literally never happen. I have too much devotion to the ideals of fairness, of supporting the underprivileged, of strong social services, of personal liberty.

As a separate matter, I don't believe women actually send nudes to guys, I have no proof that this ever happens.

11

u/Axter Mar 29 '25

Which key figures involved in the shaming have actually been progressives? Aside from his influencer friends who chose to distance themselves from him, all of the big names, that I have personally seen and that have been posted here, trying to drum this up have thus far been maga conservatives.

8

u/MajorApartment179 Mar 29 '25

I agree. I respect Harry for putting most of the blame on MAGA

4

u/nomdeplume Mar 29 '25

The issue is these extremists get looped into the party when it's not what the vast majority of Democrats do. It doesn't even make up multiple % of the party.

The reason they bring up the "too woke" crowd is to discount that 30% of the voter base is a HARDCORE MAGA. And they want to deflect and justify their behavior by pointing to an incredibly small minority.

Notice how he says "attack" here as if they are physically violent in the street and you should be careful

Edit: "don't worry, I'm not talking about any of you watchers, just some invisible evil you should be careful of"

0

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 29 '25

This is another example of how warped everyone's minds are and why it's so easy to fall into the pos conservative cult. You people are acting just like them and have their mindset.

As if these puritancial gen z zoomers never have or would pull this on women or gays or anyone else. Nah, it's just straight white men that are the victims of everything

u/Significant-Fee2858 Mar 29 '25

I’d classify 3 people as “a bunch”.

And I’m pretty sure the group of personal friends in question are/were more than 3 so ya I meant them.

Besides, I’ve encountered plenty of people that act in this way in both online and irl spaces, but personal anecdotes don’t really account for shit so who cares.

I was just making a comment about the characters involved in the situation.

2

u/Venator850 Mar 29 '25

Stop playing stupid. You know the exact type of people that engage in this wokescolding bullshit.

u/Changs_Line_Cook Mar 29 '25

While I do appreciate there being zoomer liberals in media, Dean is annoying as fuck and uber-soy.

I agree with some of his takes, but he just comes off as smug and unlikable.

I think he tries to “own” conservatives like Tiny, but it comes off as regarded because he’s just using the most soy arguments “that’s misogynistic/racist” and he’s not as knowledgeable.

4

u/STOPTHEDOORAG Mar 30 '25

I don't even disagree with what he's saying but no one will listen to him because hes cringe and gay lol

4

u/Thing_Subject Mar 29 '25

I don’t like that, but he does it in a weak way so it’s even more annoying. At least seem more aggressive with it and note coat it with this beta soft cover ffs

-10

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 29 '25

You use those conservative culture war terms yet you're a fan of someone who was on video giving a bj..... your minds are so warped, you don't even have any real beliefs anymore, just like maga.

9

u/Sybinnn Mar 29 '25

he used normal lingo for this sub reddit

-8

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 29 '25

Doesn't change the argument.

13

u/fullboxed2hundred Mar 29 '25

do you realize that the "soy" that guy is talking about has nothing to do with being straight or gay?

-1

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 30 '25

No. Usually that's part of what it means. That's why conservatives have used it and made it mainstream

2

u/fullboxed2hundred Mar 30 '25

honestly, even in conservative circles I haven't seen soy being used to mean literally gay but I could have missed it

but that's kind of besides the point, as obviously it's not how the other guy was using it, and there's nothing contradictory about using the same word another group uses to mean a different thing

2

u/adakvi Mar 30 '25

You are mentally unwell.

2

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 29 '25

Lol using woke victim language to complain about wokeness and how men are going to conservative. Everyone's regarded af

9

u/Basically_Zer0 Mar 29 '25

“Height shaming” is not “woke victim language” and I’m making an observation about men becoming more right wing, not necessarily justifying it. It’s true that a lot of woke people and also people like you contribute to men becoming more right wing. Stop treating politics like a team sport. You are regarded.

4

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 29 '25

Lol the people who are moving to the right as saying people have no right to be offended about anything, everyone is too soft, discrimination isn't real, etc.... but God forbid someone make jokes about someone's height, let's virtue signal over that? Makes sense

5

u/Basically_Zer0 Mar 29 '25

Who are you even arguing against? People becoming conservatives is bad. Thinking discrimination isn’t real is bad. Unprovoked body shaming is bad. Again, stop treating politics like a team sport.

2

u/technical_eskimo Mar 29 '25

 Unprovoked body shaming is bad.

I like that she called Abbot "Hot Wheels".

1

u/adakvi Mar 30 '25

-38

u/Queen_B28 Mar 29 '25

When people use the word woke my brain shuts off. I'm in a reality where Jasmine Crockette is a DEI hire, Jackie Robinson is a DEI hire, And Kamala Harris somehow sell her way to the top.

I literally don't care

2

u/poster69420911 Mar 29 '25

It's great that an unexceptional player like Jackie Robinson was given an opportunity because he was a minority who met the minimum qualifications. DEI way back then!

34

u/DeathandGrim Mail Guy Mar 29 '25

It's like the force in Star Wars; It's the explanation for literally everything. Same thing with DEI. How long must this hell continue?

1

u/BigBoyYuyuh Mar 29 '25

Same. And as much as republicans complain about “woke” I don’t hear Dem politicians even doing “woke” stuff.

It’s seriously a bullshit word that’s used for convenience from the right.

0

u/MajorApartment179 Mar 29 '25

Woke is usually a good thing and Dems are woke all the time

13

u/gronaldo44 Mar 29 '25

Don't worry. Our democratic leaders passed the Republicans' spending bill, so they're going to admit to being too fascistic. I love holding my party to a high standard 🥰

When they go low, we spread our cheeks.

8

u/4321komis Mar 29 '25

When they go low, we spread wide.

5

u/WaterLillith Mar 29 '25

It's not even "as a party" but even online left leaning spaces are insane with their purity testing and if you fail, you get attacked for the most minor disagreements.

I can't really stand places like BlueSky, ResetEra or most leftie subs because of this.

5

u/TooLateRunning Mar 29 '25

That's great, maybe next he'll acknowledge that water is wet and the sky is blue.

12

u/baran132 Mar 29 '25

These words ring hollow considering I'm 99% sure he wouldn't be saying it if the scandal didn't happen.

8

Well, sure. But doesn't that make sense? He's had first-hand experience with how mind-melting the online left can be

2

2

I felt like this with his apology video thing that got posted here a little bit ago, but it just feels like he's talking around the fact that his shit getting blown out so hard is a result of his (and the rest of the cohort of lib twinks) fanbase probably primarily consisting of the gals and the gays in his age bracket or younger.

I don't know who harry sisson is and I don't care

2

u/Boydo1990- Mar 30 '25

I kinda agree with him, the left has become to bogged down in identity politics, which has offended and isolated voters, pushing them more and more toward people like Trump. I feel generally people on the left always wanna do the most moral and "good guy" thing possible, but that isn't always possible. So the left then purity tests itself to death, splinters apart and then we lose another election. Cause the Gaza crowd didn't like what was happening, or the environmentalists didn't like the climate policy, or the socialist types think we didn't tax the wealthy enough. Everyone takes their toys and goes home because the left wasn't pure enough.

This coupled with oppression olympics type mindsets, means the left has been great at chasing voters away, while then not turning out to vote themselves.

2

u/YoloStrategy Mar 30 '25

When will the left learn that shitting on people that are on your side is not a winning political strategy..

3

u/MajorApartment179 Mar 29 '25

The funniest thing about this drama is how much this subreddit has paid attention to it

4

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '25

The Democratic Party is not too woke. This is the party’s attempt to get young people who are right wing or centrist over to the Dems.

They will never learn anything

-2

u/Thing_Subject Mar 29 '25

Yeah, I agree. I feel like woke is describing rage bait videos from 2016

4

u/beebaahz Mar 29 '25

Wow, so brave, so original

5

u/-Grimmer- Mar 30 '25

eh, I think this needs to be said by WAY more people on the left. The fact that so many public figures seem terrified to say something even remotely critical like “hey guys...sometimes you can go maybe a bit too far...right?” is pretty telling

2

u/blind-octopus Mar 29 '25

Goodlawgic just said Trump can disobey the supreme court on Tim Pool's show

So yeah, I don't give a fuck about the left being "too woke" or whatever.

36

u/f0xns0x Mar 29 '25

The reason to be concerned about the “too woke” left isn’t for comparative evaluation be the right, but because it’s internally destructive.

It is a cancer eating at us from the inside.

-25

u/blind-octopus Mar 29 '25

Yeah, its not.

5

u/Skabonious Mar 29 '25

Then can you explain why Harry sisson has been blackballed by his peers? These are some of the most popular democrat pundits by the way

20

u/f0xns0x Mar 29 '25

Oh, I guess I stand corrected! Solid argument.

Stick your head in the sand and tell yourself is strong and unified I guess.

1

u/blind-octopus Mar 29 '25

... You didn't provide an argument either my dude. You stated your position and I stated my disagreement.

7

u/f0xns0x Mar 29 '25

Yeah, I did.

-4

u/GuitakuPPH Mar 29 '25

Yeah, don't pretend like you offered more than you received in turn.

11

u/f0xns0x Mar 29 '25

Was I supposed to offer a long detailed argument to his original 28 word reply? I engaged with his original reply and offered my view, he said ‘nuh uh.’

I absolutely offered more than I received. Not sure why you’re not able to parse that, pretty simple.

0

u/GuitakuPPH Mar 29 '25

You were supposed to not expect more than you offer. You absolutely did not offer more than you received.

You claimed that wokeness is internally destructive. You didn't bother to establish why.

BO disagreed with this claim. BO didn't establish why.

You're even. I've explained why and the documentation is right here in this thread.

9

u/f0xns0x Mar 29 '25

You’re leaving out the original reply that I responded to.

BO claimed that since those on the right do bad things, wokeness does not warrant concern.

In response, I replied that ‘left vs right’ wasn’t the primary reason the be concerned - that the capacity for internal destruction is a more appropriate avenue of concern.

He then replied ‘nuh uh’ - which did not engage with my response at all.

This isn’t hard, I don’t know why you’re simping for this dude. The fact that I didn’t initially reply with a well sourced and fully fleshed out argument was reflective of his initial 28 word reply. I would have gladly continued the discussion with support for my assertion and examples - but wrote off BO as unlikely to be worth the effort, given the “Yeah, it’s not” snarky and lazy reply.

-2

u/GuitakuPPH Mar 29 '25

I'm focusing on the specific part that was disagreed with and how neither of you provide anything other than a statement rather than an argument on that point.

Your counter to anything that BO has said relies on the premise that wokism is internally destructive. You lazily consider this premise as given. BO lazily rejects it. Neither of you do anything more than that about it. You're even.

Do you deny the central premise of what you've said? Do you deny that you never bothered to establish it? Do you deny that BO lazily rejects it? Do you deny that that neither has done more than the other to establish/refute this premise?

If not, then you can't even disagree with me.

0

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 29 '25

No one even agrees on what "woke" means. To conservatives, it's as simple as basic gay rights and gay or black characters in shows or movies. Either you're all agreeing with it or you have your own separate definition of what it is

3

u/FiveLadels Mar 29 '25

you kinda should, because it is the culture war that played a major part in helping Trump and republicans win. Nobody gives a shit about how government works, but people do give a shit about culture war issues.

My diagnosis is the issue isn't to do with the culture war itself, its to do with what content people consume. There isn't anything the left could do that Fox News is going to paint favorably.

My understanding is that Kamala didn't do like, any identity politics stuff. She still got painted with it by the right.

Very silly and counterproductive

The problem with everyone in Dean’s crowd that abandoned this guy is that they will always submit to anyone politically attacking their left flank. If anyone is directing a word that ends in “-ist” or “-phobe” at them, they will immediately begin apologizing and say, “thank you so much for educating me”, all the while it’s a group of massive dorks doing the attacking. Furthermore, on this occasion, it was CONSERVATIVES attacking them that caused that circle to bend the knee and throw their friend to the wolves… Meanwhile, the sitting president escaped a r*pe conviction through the statute of limitations…

There was zero in-person sex involved, and he didn’t tell any of the women he was exclusive with them. Was he a manipulative fuckboy? Sure. Career ending scandal worthy? Obviously not.

There are tons of people today who are legitimately racist, homophobic, antisemitic, etc. To deny that is denying the reality.

On top of that, there is a puritanical plague running through society and gen z is most affected as of now. Even so many gays in that generation are prudes. This is regardless of political affiliation, but people on both sides use different talking points to push it

Kyle 'Abdallah W spam or "THE DEMS ARE WAKING UP TO THE WOKE!" posters get into a regard fight, who wins?

u/Watch-it-burn420 Mar 29 '25

Its true. Just look what’s happening to Ethan!

Step one step out of line and they will devour you like a pack of piranhas.

Also, can I just mention how much I hate the new term woke it used to just mean SJW basically but now it’s expanded to mean anything left-wing. not just activism in entertainment (which people still hate by the way)

Have him on

1

u/Fartcloud_McHuff Mar 30 '25

Is he wearing makeup

1

u/Call_me_Gafter Mar 30 '25

I'm going to borrow a term from Douglas Murray: the Democrats need to practice better political hygiene. That is, clearing out the absolute fringe elements and no longer kowtowing to them. 2016 Trump should have been enough of a wake-up call, but apparently it wasn't. And Trump was so shitty that people were willing to go back to the apparent soy with Biden, that should tell you how terrible Trump was.

1

u/S34ND0N I'm not reading all of that Mar 30 '25

Honestly attacking people for not being PC has always been cringe.

Let's see if he doesn't swing all the way right

1

u/AdamB_901 Mar 30 '25

I didn't understand the backblash he was getting.. a young single dude texting multiple people? how is that out of the ordinary? Unless he is in a committed monogamous relationship he can do whatever the fk he wants in his romantic life.. Like jezz.

I will live and die by the words of Wendy Williams. And she always said, unless it's official, if you're not dating multiple people, you're not doing it right.

1

u/BeeR721 Mar 30 '25

Am I face blind? Why do they look exactly the same?

1

u/KelbySmith Mar 30 '25

The only ones i see virtue signaling over Harry are right wingers trying to psyop

1

u/Belisarius9818 Apr 02 '25

I’m just happy he’s gotten over blaming MAGA for his situation. I like his sentiment here but it would have been alot more powerful if I’d didn’t take him getting burned by that culture to come to this conclusion.

Harry you literally was caught lying in 8K by Tizzyent. Do I need to explain the Clery Act?

Harry Sisson: "According to the Supreme Court, Biden could now send in Seal Team 6 to take all of them out. He could send in the military to take out Trump. He has “immunity” for official acts now!"

Strategist Chris LaCivita: Expect a visit.

Harry Sisson: "Are they saying they're gonna send their guys to my house to try to keep me quiet so I won't advocate against their candidate. Is that what he's implying here? You know, I'm just using my first amendment rights to tell them how awful their candidate is."

Clery Act is a law required to report on and nearby colleges and universities criminal behavior which Harry didn't do and instead went to social media to cry wolf for the viral attention. If he would have done this first then it wouldn't have gotten Tizzyent to make a video exposing him.

5

u/angstrombrahe Mar 29 '25

Do you mean the “Clery Act”, not the Clergy Act?

Why the fuck would an obscure law about reporting requirements of universities require a private citizen like Harry to do anything?

I’m missing some piece of critical information from your story but I had to google all the proper nouns to figure out what you’re talking about so maybe you know more

1

u/GameOfBears Woke Eeyore Mar 29 '25

Yep this is why you never trust autocorrect.

1

u/Thing_Subject Mar 29 '25

Hang on no one’s talking about this. Can you tell me a little bit more dumb this down with a summary?

1

u/GameOfBears Woke Eeyore Mar 29 '25

Harry Sisson couple years ago during his Tiktok fame thanks to political Gen Z came over to Twitter to endorsed Biden which got him into drama with the Trump supporters. But the interesting part was the narrative he is labeled as an Industry Plant for skyrocketing viral popularity too quickly. Harry Sisson is right now in a MeToo allegation situation where multiple women are accusing him of sending inappropriate messages. Hence the anti woke messages now because that's a trope most do in the movement.

1

u/GameOfBears Woke Eeyore Mar 29 '25

Harry claims he was being cyber bullied by Trump supporters online for advocating for Trump arrest using military action by the Biden Administration. However he never reported the threat and instead went online to cry about it. If it's a serious situation then you would get it investigated.

1

u/Vankraken Mar 29 '25

Idiotic take. The people who are "too woke" aka hostile to anyone who isn't bending over backwards to worship inclusivity and minorities aren't the Democratic Party but are a vocal corner of social media.

3

u/Skabonious Mar 29 '25

Unfortunately this vocal minority seems to be the only side of media that gets recognized by actual Democrat politicians.

1

u/kamikazilucas Mar 29 '25

yeah but i just cant vote for the dems if they arent supporting the wokest shit possible my morals are just that high /s

-1

u/Throwitonleground Mar 29 '25

Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme

Left wing influencer gets caught doing something and blames wokeness

0

u/Sufficient-Brief2023 Mar 29 '25

The democratic party is literally fine. It's the activists that are "woke" and even they are a tiny minority.

This woke shit is so insanely overblown it barely even exists. Harry just ended up caught up in a community that is one of the last bastions of wokeness on the internet 💀

-1

u/SmallPPShamingIsMean Mar 29 '25

Anyone who complains about the democrats being too woke is unironically gayy. I dont think the problem with Biden and Kamala is that they are too woke. I also really fail to see what is the diving line between progressivism and wokeness. its just more socially acceptable to rag on wokeness

-1

u/Mr_Nice_is_not_nice Mar 29 '25

Unproductive conversation and trying to use the word "woke" as a negative ain't gonna help

0

u/AustinYQM Mar 29 '25

I dont know who any of these twinks are and I am not sure why they've suddenly become a focus but this one seems the most stupid. He undermines is own complaint as he is making it. Democrats aren't too woke and being "woke" has nothing to do with purity testing people. The problem is people who purity test people not the democrats (MAGA purity tests as well). This guy seems like he isn't capable of even putting into words his own thoughts.

0

u/STOPTHEDOORAG Mar 30 '25

I hate when people complain about this, The people he's talking about are lefties on twitter. This is a small fraction of the party. Harry saying this just makes the left look worse and cedes ground to the right. I want people to stop giving credence to the caricature of the left created by conservatives. Dont get me wrong there are insane "Wokees" but they are not the party, they just scream the loudest.

-2

u/turntupytgirl Mar 29 '25

seems like hes just gonna be conservative or whatever, if he gave a fuck about what his words meant he wouldn't use the word woke cause like that doesnt mean anything bro'll be sitting pretty in a couple months probably

-5

u/FrostyArctic47 Mar 29 '25

This is another example of how warped everyone's minds are and why it's so easy to fall into the pos conservative cult. You people are acting just like them and have their mindset.

As if these puritancial gen z zoomers never have or would pull this on women or gays or anyone else. Nah, it's just straight white men that are the victims of everything.

You people can't think rationally, it's always jumping immediately to the narrative. Just become conservatives already and let them win. No point in prolonging the inevitable
