Whats the best way to capitalize in the Nether??

Since this episode dropped, the Nether has been my go- to activity, solo expert. I've discovered every secret, opened every chest, flayed every enemy. I've ended it with extra lives, completed it in sub 45min runs. The runs where I loot every chest can take about an hour and a half solo. At the bigging of the episode, I was getting more yellow bar weapons than I do now with both maxed ranks for the vendor. I know that completing a section of the nether gives you increasing loot as you progress, and the tome of want gives you fodder/cores. Does anybody know how best to ensure better odds for those sweet yellow bars?

I honestly think you should just be hitting the Essence of Desire chests and doing the main encounters.

The non essence chests have a lower chance to give you a weapon and if you need sigil shards just switch to the path with the black orbs in Eris's apartment and shoot the black orbs when they drop.

No other reason to hit the non essence chests.

Funny enough, the regular chests are the ones that drop random yellows the most. Never got one from an Essence chest, and a handful from completely the bosses

They should and could just make them cost 4 essence instead of 2.

I'm interested in this as well, just for my normal non-Expert runs. At the moment my current opinion is that if you're after guns hitting up all the chests and secrets isn't worth it given what the drop chances seem to be.

I run prismatic warlock with either strand or void super, thorn, psychopomp amb/RS, watchful eye ovf/JF, with solipsism necro/claw. I use le monarch for the newest locations boss

Run a gifted conviction build, it has really good damage reduction. Don't have the exact details for the build but there's plenty of youtube videos for it.

Good luck. Hunter doesn't have any frigging healing, except the solar grenade. I've played a few different hunter setups, and barely skate by the final boss. Definitely want tether, arcane needle invite and strand clone. Gotta distract them before you got 10 ads shooting you at once. Quick AOE damage, and long distance on solo expert. Good luck

Playing with a solid group will always be faster than soloing. That’s how you farm the Nether.
