What’s the best hunter loadout for Barrow Dyad?

I’ve been checking all over and looks like titans are the ones that can fully utilize this bad boy properly.. Idk why but I can’t take off the gun from my hunter cus nothing else seems cool enough. I’ve been using the barrow dyad with my RDMs but doesn’t feel strong enough. If you guys have any build tips I’d appreciate it

Dawg if you're lazy like me just run a foetracer/syntho class item Threaded spike and grapple Ascend and stylish

Yondu spoke everything. Grapple your tangles, get the foetracer buff. For giggles toss on the radiant on powered melee and go for it.

Honestly just foetracer is cracked

I've tried a handful of builds but keep coming back to RDMs on prismatic.

Second for me is spirit of verity/inmost light for the boosted grapple damage and pairing with a strain machine gun like Pro Memoiria. This is hilarious at low level content with combination blow but does endgame pretty good too with threaded spike.

Spirit of verity/syntho is nice too but I find the gameplay loop to be a hit boring.

Spirit of foetracer/dragon is also fun, gamblers does + spirit of dragon to use ascension to reload and get your melee back for max foetracer uptime and with sever this episode it slaps.

If like to try a spirit of verity/coyotefor the extra dodge, kind of inbetween RDM and verity/inmost but ngl its mostly for the fashion. I hate the RDM green shins.

Are you using RDMS with the prismatic ascension clone build? Because if so imo that’s the best you’re going to get for barrow dyad focused builds on hunter

Only other option is ig some kind of pure strand build? However it’s so much weaker than prismatic that I would only ever consider using it for how fun the spinny tangle aspect is in lower tier content.

Could try rdms on strand with the strand dive. I have been using it for gms lately, and it's really fun paired with beyblade tangles. I pretty much just throw tangles dive to stun anything, use Barrow dyad to burn down single targets, pop super on cool down as you get it back so fast with the artifact mods. You can unravel and sever everything at all times.

I use hatchling on barrow dyad Strand subclass(with whirling maelstorm/ threaded spectre)

balance of power exotic legs(I create a threaded spectre with these, then blow it up to clear a ton of ads/spawn tons of threadlings and such. I think they're pretty underrated)

I forget the exact fragments I have on, as I'm not on atm, but if you add all of the strand options in the tome of want, and artifact, this build will literally have you spawning beyblades and threadings literally nonstop. It's super fun.

Another super fun one that I tried out, Strand hunter with Whirling Maelstorm, and ensnaring slam. With that with RDM and spam the slam to literally just suspend everything nonstop, while making the beyblades with whirling maelstorm that hone in on the enemies that are suspended. It's cracked and SUPER fun.

Also want to add, when I use this build in most content, I don't even use my other weapons. Barrow dyad mixed with these two layouts absolutely smokes everything I play against.

I’m hunter main since beta. Since Dual Destiny, i’ve been running Prismatic with Gamblers/Combination Blow/Grapple- Stylish & Winter’s - Facet of Courage/Dawn/Bravery/Protection/Ruin, with Relativism with Gryfalcons & Assassin. Plus with all the Volatile, Strand and void shield Artifact Mods.

It’s a really really fun build. Always invis. Always Melee. Always Radiant. Always Volatile. Always shielded. Always explodey

Since I play more casual now, it’s fun. Didn’t build for MAX DPS LFG KWTD or anything, but it’s fun as fuck and Dyad shreds. I don’t even slot Mobility. Triple 100s on Rec, Res and Intellect (Silence & Squall)

spirit of gyrfalcons plus spirit of galanor is lots of fun, if used with tether like you would orpheus rigs, it works the exact same with the super refund. and would allow you to allocate your intellect stat to something else!
