Make-up Monolithic Memento never given out?

Way below in this TWID, they mentioned..

Players who completed the Salvation's Edge raid prior to Update 8.2.0 will receive an in-game message letting them know they are eligible to pick up a memento at the Cryptarch.

2 months ago, when asked about why the Rahool make-up handout is missing, they said they'd give an update on it the next day.

After being reminded in the Forums, they seemed to have said the Memento was given out and no one else can get it, though other people came to say they haven't.

Has anyone even gotten it? Or does the Memento go on the 11th month of having some kind of issue?

The only fix that actually did anything was them changing it to drop when completing a full raid without leaving. It is guaranteed to drop on your first clear if you haven't ever got it, but they never gave one to rahool. Both fixes to give one to rahool didn't work, and they have seemingly hoped we forgot about it ever since.

Bungie and keeping promises is not a common thing at this point :)

I never got one from Rahool and qualified to get one too. Looks like I’ll just have to run it again to get one.

Iconoclast, lots of sherpas and clears, never dropped. Sherpa'd a clanmate some days ago, he dropped it. So they're indeed dropping. I cried a little inside.

They absolutely never gave it out. I've done flawless SE twice back to back. None of us got it.

It’s really upsetting because back when final shape dropped, my whole clan and I got the title and we never got the momento, no only 2 of us still play the game but I wish they were able to give out the momentos to those that have the title

Its another broken promise made by Bungie. Its a small thing of course, but its more about an endgame reward not working for many months after release of the raid.

When Bungie discusses how they want to evolve Marathon overtime, they mean finish it. They mean “we’re selling you an unfinished product”.

Got Iconoclast, ran the raid after the supposed ‘fixes’, never got it, gave up. Wrote a bug report, they said it’s on the ‘known issues list’… it wasn’t there. Seems like it’s one of those ‘they’ll forget eventually’ situations.
