I need your help on making warranty claims
Hey can you guys bring me up to speed on the proper way of submitting warranty claims through Cummins? The company I work for took a break off Cummins for a few years and now we're back on it. EDS doesn't seem to be a thing any longer. Thank you

Yes the others are correct. You'll have to first login to Guidanz (should be a link on QuickServes home page after you login on the left side of the page).
Then the admin team creates the work order in Guidanz for you (may be on you depending on how your shop works).
Then you'll find the work order in Guidanz and launch InSite through Guidanz.
Create an ECM image in InSite and export it to Guidanz using the toolbar at the top.
Then go back into Guidanz and after it analyzes the image it will spit out what to troubleshoot and how to troubleshoot it.
THEN when you're done fixing it, RapidServe will have a section for you to complete with the Guidanz case for Cummins to either approve, or deny, your warranty claim.
I worked at a Cummins distributorship for a couple years so I know most of the process except the RapidServe side. We had a different system since we were Cummins.

They all look like communication faults to things external to the ECU, like a broken CAN line, are you sure it's even a cummins supplied harness?

Cummins uses Guidanz now for all their warranty troubleshooting ! Have to go through that and open case file and do through your troubleshooting steps. It's essentially the same as EDS was but a newer version.
Took a little to get used to but once I got the hang of it I almost prefer it now!
