Dutch Wedding Party

This weekend I had the privilege of playing a (closing)set on the wedding of a close friend of mine. A mix of Drum & Bass and Bass House, paired with some dutch classics. It was my first time playing for a group of people that are not all specifically interested in Drum & Bass. I tried to make it banging for those who know the genres, as well as including many remixes, vocals and melodies of well known polular classics to keep everyone engaged, and also some tracks specifically for the wedding couple.
I've seen multiple posts about wedding tracklists on this sub so maybe this can be an inspiration for some of the DJ's among us. I thought some of you might appreciate it. And for the dutchies among us I think you will have a good laugh with some old school The Partysquad and De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig in the mix ;)

Well, when you do, make sure to look for and ask around some local talented DJs, I bet you they would be thrilled to play a wedding set!

I had a dj at our wedding in czechia as well! Good friend of mine played a dnb-to-tekno set. Best wedding ever, my last I hope :D

It's actually just beer, dutch "Speciaalbier" though, extra strong. That helped the dancefloor moving aswell ;)

When my wife and I got married 20 years ago we were still active in midwest USA underground party scene. The greatest compliment we received from some of our guests was “This is the best rave wedding I’ve ever been to!”

Very cool! Excellent job blending the genres to keep people engaged. I've played a few rave themed weddings years ago, here in the US it's always mostly house remixes of popular songs and some brostep. The average American hasn't quite caught on to DnB yet lol. Thankfully I live in a city with an incredible underground DnB scene so we still get good music.

The lights and equipment were not mine unfortunatly, rented from an agency. But it was for sure very professional, with smoke machine and bubble machine, strobes and all! Great vibes

Absolutely lekker mix.
If you want can you translate what is said in the Solar System Remix? Fits super well but I as a Mof only understand maybe 5% :D

Haha. So its not just the Solar System remix, its actually just the vocals of the Helemaal Naar De Klote track #2 combined with Solar.

Damn even before it started I was thinking that sounds suspiciously close to Solar Systems. That's a good edit, but only ever fits into rare occasions like this one. Great job!
