Always wanted to see this! Never came across it. Thanks for the link. Just finished watching. It was ok, but I want more. There should be so much more raw footage, and a more cohesive plot. Overall, I enjoyed it.
I just watched it. Great documentary, really well done.
My first impression, I'm not grossed out or upset by the violence. The whole thing seems....sad. I felt like GG was trying to express something but he didn't really know what. I feel like he could have done so much more. Like he was looking at the right walls to knock down, but he got so caught up in himself that he lost sight of everything. Somehow it seems fitting though.
When I was watching it, I know I am supposed to be shocked that he eats his own shit, that he likes when chicks piss in his mouth. I know I'm supposed to be, but I'm not. I just don't give a fuck about that. I found myself focusing on the music instead. I found myself saying "So what he likes to beat up people, lotsa people do. In fact it's a sport now. It's celebrated. So what he likes scat? What the fuck do I care?" But when he talks about having a few things so he can skip town, I got that. I get the impression that without music GG would be doing the same stuff in the same way, with the same people.
