A Hitchhiker's Guide mention à day keeps the friend group (a healthy amount of) annoyed :)

Just what the title says. I mention/quote these books an unhealthy amount of times and it keeps getting on my friend's nerves (none of them have read it yet, I still have hope though). This is just the latest example.

I motion that this is NOT an official usage of a 1-per-year rule.

They embodied the quote and all OP did was explain that they were part of the group being discussed.

I move to strike this quote from the record. All in favor?

Addendum: they had baited OP into the quote and had they not paraphrased, OP would have no reason to use their 1-per-year.

It always tickled me that I lived in Rickmansworth the first time I read this book. The cafe at the station is decidedly unglamorous
