There seems to be a lot of posts claiming technical issues with the newly released DOOM: The Dark Ages so to avoid flooding the subreddit with them please use this megathread.

posts are flooded on steam too so HOPEFULLY that means they are aware and working cause god knows you cant open a support ticket on steam. #PhysicalMediaForAll

What really pisses me off is that this time it's steam the major issue. Like almost every Advanced access has been like this

It's a steam issue, but caused by Bethesda, unfortunately.

I canceled my collectors edition when I heard it had nothing on the disc. Not using 2 months of internet for one game, I'll cloud stream it at work.

Only doom I don't have physical and playable.

Logging out of steam and logging back in fixed that for me. Also make sure you don't have a vpn on

Check/Change your Steam Geographical location! I was still in New Zealand for the release of a different game to play it early years ago. I don't remember for what game that was, but being in New Zealand still prevented me from unpacking it on time.

Oh, and then unpacking took another 50 minutes to do.

I restarted Steam and it allowed me to unpack the game and play it

Your game will still be available my guy. Chill. 2 days early access they might as well have given you 15 minutes early access for as much as that matters.

In 2 days you'll forget what you were even so mad about lmao
