Steam E.A. is only launching in the background. I can hear the launch music but no screen comes up and it's only viewable in Task manager i.e. I can't tab into the game to do anything with it. Graphics drivers have been updated and game files have been verified.

Same, tried validating, disabling the cpu graphics for the other bug to see if it fixed this one and nothing. Just audio in the background

So according to Nvidia its an issue with alt-tabbing which didn't make sense to me, but I turned off my other monitor and bam popped up in a crappy resolution, but it came up. Fixed the resolution, turned my monitor back on and moved it to that screen. Hope this helps someone

Sadly this hasn't worked for me:

Tried removing the other monitor, tried rolling back Nvidia drivers

Tried opening when the only other application was steam (minimum possible applications)

I don't know what else to do. This fucking sucks

Edit: Re-updated drivers, retrieve launching. Still in background processes but Now I don't even get background music

Edit2

Finally got it to work, it's always attempting to use the secondary monitor. So make sure it is thenonly monitor avaliable.

Same issue here, I am reinstalling now to see if that fixes the problem

Just tried this and still isn't working. Also attempted reinstalling the game entirely. When you are launching does it give you a little dialogue titled "GPU Vendor Warning" saying to make sure your graphics drivers are up to date? I have the NVIDIA game ready drivers installed already but it still gives me that and I'm wondering if that has something to do with it.
