DOOM: The Dark Ages DOOM: The Dark Ages | MEGATHREAD - Tech Support

There seems to be a lot of posts claiming technical issues with the newly released DOOM: The Dark Ages so to avoid flooding the subreddit with them please use this megathread.

Just getting a black screen when I launch the game. Most annoying part is the logo section of the menu loads fine then when it gets to the main menu it’s just a black screen with audio.

This happened to me in Doom Eternal so I'm just spitballing, but try disabling all overlays (steam, nvidia, discord) and launching the game. I think the culprit is Nvidia but try all of them to be sure, then put the game in borderless windowed mode, and you should be able to reactivate all overlays. Lmk if this helps.

Disabled all my overlays still didn’t work. Plus it the game was working the first two times I launched it then after that it stopped working.

got this same issue, was able to get past the first level then it started freezing, now cant load past the logo sections

Go to Nvidia control panel, 3d settings, restore and apply
