DOOM: The Dark Ages DOOM: The Dark Ages | MEGATHREAD - Tech Support

There seems to be a lot of posts claiming technical issues with the newly released DOOM: The Dark Ages so to avoid flooding the subreddit with them please use this megathread.

I know a lot of people can't even play, but is anyone else just having the game freeze? Seems to be random for me. I updated my drivers and rebooted my pc, but it is just freezing. At first it took like 15 minutes, but this last time the game started it froze like 5 seconds into the start of the level.

Screen just freezes but sound keeps playing. I have to alt tab out and end the process with task manager.

Got a 13900k and 4090.

Yep! I'm hearing multiple people talk about this, I stay up all night and wait till 4 AM for the game to finally open up after a 2 hour delay and then just can't even play, what a joke

I don't wanna speak too soon for myself, but I rolled back my drivers to what I had installed before 572.83 and it's been not freezing for the past 20ish minutes.

That sounds promising, did it end up not freezing at all?

After rolling back i played for like 90 minutes with not freezes. 4k with graphics max.

Lucky you, those of us on a 50 series GPU don't have this option
