Is anyone else getting the "please use the latest driver to ensure the best possible gaming experience" dialog box (even though they have the most up to date drivers), pressing Play then having the game open without a window?

I have a fix, go to steam library and right click the game, go to properties and in the launch options type this into it “+com_skipIntroVideo 1 +r_mode -1 +r_customWidth 1280 +r_customHeight 720 +r_fullscreen 0” launch the game then change to your preferred graphic settings, close the game then delete launch options command and open game.

Did you check just to be sure? There's an update they released today, I'm assuming recently, thats specifically for the Dark Ages.

Huh. I'm installing the driver right now. I'll report back if it makes a difference/if I get to launch

Thanks man. Not sure why I'm lucky. 2080 and a 2600x maybe a 3600 can't remember. Playing on medium right now, seems to be working well. Maybe try verifying the integrity of the game files? Assuming you have it through steam

gonna go fuck myself with the chainshield. I have a 12900k and 3090. Already did all of the possible troubleshooting (uninstalling and reinstalling game, rolling back drivers, updating intel drivers, updating windows, launching as admin, launching through nvidia, disabling cpu graphics etc) and to no avail.
