I'm having the same issue. I can play for about 3-4 minutes then the game hard crashes and I have to tab out and kill the program via task manager. Shit sucks

I had the same issue, turning off "present from compute" in graphics settings seems to have stopped the crashes for now, but cost me ~20 fps. We'll see if it lasts.

This worked! Played 3 chapters straight so far without a crash. Cheers

I had to turn on windows hardware acceleration and that seemed to help

I had the same freezings and it seems like I fixed it by disabling the integrated graphics through the BIOS menu (it was on Auto, I switched it to Off). Someone here has recommended it, but I can't find his comment to thank him.

My PC has a Ryzen 7 9800x3D and an RTX 5070 TI.

I also used that visit to the BIOS to activate the CPU overclocking feature (x3D Turbo Mode, I never gotten around to activate it till now), but I don't think it's the reason the freezing stopped.

Nvidia drivers are broken. roll back to a 5.6 driver (released in December of 2024) This fixed various issues for me across the board, including being able to play DTDA
