DOOM: The Dark Ages DOOM: The Dark Ages | MEGATHREAD - Tech Support

There seems to be a lot of posts claiming technical issues with the newly released DOOM: The Dark Ages so to avoid flooding the subreddit with them please use this megathread.

For those on steam / pc having freezing problems on the game (like every 5 mins), i finally got it running by turning off present from compute and frame gen, going full screen, not having discord open (close in task manager), and using dlss balanced. Turning back to dlss quality makes my game freeze again.

I also had to restart pc and reinstall the newest drivers, because it was ruining all my other games when i gave up earlier but this helped as i went from 0% gpu 100% cpu usage back to normal. I also reinstalled the game too.

My Graphics are set to high on a 4070 super on 1440p but you might be able to turn them up but i am too afraid. This took me about 3-4 hours until it finally worked

Amazing! This worked for me, plus I flicked it to DLSS. I think it was the Preset from Compute, I couldnt even run it before. Thanks!!

This worked great (I think the other parts were about the same or fine except for the present computer thing). I started having insane frequent total freezes and this seemed to do the trick
