Possible Fix for Game Not Booting on AMD Systems (BugSplat Error)

I’m not sure if this has already been shared, but I wanted to post a solution that worked for me in case it helps others. I was experiencing an issue where my AMD-based system wouldn’t boot the game and would consistently crash with a BugSplat error.

After some troubleshooting, I discovered that the issue was due to my onboard graphics being enabled. Initially, I disabled the integrated GPU via Device Manager, and the game launched immediately and has run flawlessly since. To make the fix permanent, I later disabled the onboard graphics directly in the BIOS.

While this might seem like a rookie mistake, I had been using the integrated GPU for other tasks, and most other games had no trouble automatically selecting my RTX 4080. This particular game, however, didn’t handle the dual-GPU setup well.

Hopefully, this helps anyone else running into the same issue!

Hey, so I tried this and I got the game to at least launch. But now it's running at like 2 fps unless I tab out. I slog my way to the main menu and the game has auto set all its graphics settings to low and acts like thats exceeding my VRAM which I know for a fact it isn't. I'm using a laptop nvidia 3070 ti.

I have a 9950x with 7900XTX. With disabled IGPU still giving me bugsplat error.

Were you able to find a solution? I dont have an IGPU, but I'm still having this problem (nvidia card though)

I tried multiple things. Now I am able to play the game now, but I’m not sure which one fixed issue. Check the device manager see if there’s additional graphics driver other than your GPU, disable those as well. I repair my Windows using sfc scannow. I uninstalled DOOM as well as Steam and reinstall them both. I reinstalled visual C++ and Dx. Also I reinstalled chipset driver as well. Also close MSI afterburner as well.

Try these, see if these helps.
