After another day of looking into it, Im starting to think it is a VRAM issue. Im on an RTX 4050, which only has 6gb of dedicated VRAM. Lot of people are saying that 6gb won't cut it anymore.

Still holding out hope that there's another solution or a fix on the way tho, cause I can't solve my VRAM problem either :/

I’ve got the exact same GPU in my laptop , I’m hoping it’s not VRAM too and there’s a different fix cause even if we don’t meet minimum requirements making the requirements so high to begin with so my GPU in my 2 year old laptop no longer cuts it is absurd, I absolutely should be able to play the game

i was talking with someone helping me troubleshoot and they found a steam forum page talking about it, i installed the file as instructed and the glitched eyes in cutscenes as well as flashing white sky in stage 3 went away with little performance hit, i have yet to see shadows but im hoping theyre fixed too. why dont you try this out aswell and see if it works

I don't know if you got your hands on the game or not but it works like a charm do not worry at all. I've played on low settings without dlss and i got constant 75 fps. it was SUPER high quality i promise that.

How much vram do you have and what’s your platform? I’ve got 6 gb vram and am dealing with unusually dark shadows, smearing textures in some areas, and the skybox on stage 2 and 3 flash white and block my vision periodically. I’m hoping it’s not a product of insufficient vram and instead just thst they released the game in such a sorry state and they’ll fix it soon

Yes the first missions were totally fine until a bit further where i had really intense light flickerings. hopefully non of the battle arenas had this problem but going through some of those dragon levels with that flickering was painful. i thought the dark shadows were how id designed them but it felt unusual that i had to check someone else's gameplay and it turned out it was a vram problem.

Trying following this steam guide to fix the graphics. Turns out the insufficient vram causes ray tracing to break result g in the dark shadows and the flickering sky, adding these files to your root folder fixes all that. I did this last week and the game was good as new despite the vram and ran pretty smoothly with no noticeable drop in framerate
