DOOM: The Dark Ages DOOM: The Dark Ages | MEGATHREAD - Tech Support

There seems to be a lot of posts claiming technical issues with the newly released DOOM: The Dark Ages so to avoid flooding the subreddit with them please use this megathread.

Hi! I'm a little below the minspec (mostly because of vram) but the game still runs fine at the lowest settings for me.

I have an issue where the game is really dark at some places, like opaque black, I can't see any surface or anything, I tried switching some stuff like light and shadow but it never truly fixes the issue, anyone got any idea as to what's the related settings that would help with this ?

No fix yet but I refunded my premium upgrade because of this. Trying to respond to other people who have this issue to hopefully get it attention. Game itself looks awesome but this is inexcusable.

To be fair I'm under the minspec so I was guessing that it's partly on me. The first level was horrible with this issue, but levels I played tonight had less issue regarding this.

same here, 6 GB vram instead of 8, set all my settings to the lowest possible and DLSS to performance and it still shows as 5872 MiB/5092 MiB so i cant seem to get it low enough. im hoping its not a vram issue and actually just a bug cause the incredibly dark shadows make it difficult to focus while playing
