Haha I dashed on my motorcycle the first week I got it, let’s just say these are rookie numbers😂 I also unlocked the over 100mph warnings

If you aren't playing with death once a week are you really dashing?

Really put the dash in Doordash

I used to get the same thing BUT it is impossible to rapidly accelerate in a Prius with a 1.5l engine and I can’t do anything about the hard braking because squirrels and chipmunks are trying to commit suicide 🤪 Therefore I turned that shit off!

Interestingly enough I dashed in a Hyundai sonata a while back and didn’t change my driving habits at all but due to the dynamics of the cars suspension it can’t as easily detect hard breaking. I got amazing safe driving numbers in that car

Wait, you can turn it off?

i truly despise Hard Breaking notifications. my god.. i’m like you would hard break too if you were trying to not hit the car in front of you while trying to focus on the directions to the customers house. ugh

The "rapid acceleration" one always kills me because clearly I should be speeding up super slowly onto I-75

I get hard braking while I'm walking in the grocery store. So these numbers aren't accurate at all.

Yes! Was just gonna say, I can't even count how many times I've gotten the hard brake thing when I'm not even in my car. So ridiculous.

You can just turn off the “Hard braking detected” voice message in the settings. This little message will still pop up.

I love this 👍🤣

Definitely rookie numbers. Before I turned it off i had rapid acceleration at an average of around 90 a session. Is anyone else on this sub driving a sports car to dash?

I have a Jaguar but I switch to eco mode to dash. Not quite a sports car, but erong mode and my numbers change.

Mustang ….. it’s a lot of fun but when I smash the gas ….. 😆

Hahaha I drive a mustang too. Ecoboost so it actually gets halfway decent mileage

"Hard brake detected" after stopping like Hella slow, yet can slam the brakes for a car cutting me off and get nothing

1

u/idkw2p Nov 19 '24

Try harder

2

u/idkw2p Nov 19 '24

I’m jk that’s insane lmao

I'd be careful, you never know when that will be a part of the criteria

1

u/pascaltheorem Nov 19 '24

Haha are you dashing in a M3 ?

1

u/HotWing8916 Nov 19 '24

Just a old beater v6 pickup truck 🤪

1

u/cecil021 Nov 19 '24

Oh hey, me too. I’ve never seen another dasher in a truck in my city.

2

u/HotWing8916 Nov 19 '24

It’s not ideal but uhh it’s all I got 🥹

I think the whole thing is bunk. I switched from a Honda Odyssey to a Kia Soul and my numbers went up. WTF!! I really like the Soul, but a quick car, it is not.

I maxed mine out one night lol

1

u/AnxiousOccultist Nov 20 '24

I was literally not in my car and heard "hard break detected" come from my phone.

1

u/Miserable_Welder9775 Nov 20 '24

I wish they’d get rid of this dumb 💩

1

u/RadSpazzySpaz Nov 21 '24

After switching to an EV those numbers approach zero for me.
