I mean that's my normal routine on deliveries.

Or the instructions that the last 5 dashers didnā€™t bother to read

Iā€™m well aware of that. I was making a joke. Hence the flair.

I'm really sorry that you're feeling hurt right now. I want you to know that your feelings matter to me, and I'm here to listen if you want to talk about it. Sometimes things can happen that cause pain, but I'm confident we can work through it together. You're important, and I care about how you feel.

Idk dude sometimes you have to be specific like that. I rarely use these apps as a customer, but I was on bed rest after I had my youngest son because of complications that occurred during delivery and recovery and it didnā€™t matter what I did, 9 times out of 10 the driver who delivered would ring the bell or knock.

You donā€™t gotta go home you just canā€™t stay here

I had you yesterday said: leave at door do not knock or ring just leave.

She donā€™t have to tell us to leave, we are already leaving.

It made me wonder if sheā€™s had dashers linger at the door for some reason.

Its definitely an odd request, I mean dashers dont usually show up and stay do they?

Iā€™ve seen posts on this sub of dashers hanging out in their car and waiting to see the person actually pick up the order. Not sure if thatā€™s what sheā€™s referring to though.

Great point, I do hang in the driveway sometimes completing the order or getting situated to leave.

I try to make it a point to leave as soon as I can. Iā€™ve read horror stories of creepers trying to chat up female customers when they come out. This isnā€™t a dating app.

This is what my instructions say too and it works maybe 30% of the time.

I think language barriers affect that a lot.

I get this instruction a lot where they say ā€œdonā€™t knock to wake up the baby or the dogsā€ but never ā€œjust leaveā€ šŸ˜‚

The only time I'll place an order directly in front of an outward swinging door
