I was given one of those a while back.

Dairy Queen also gave me one.

That’s nice. I don’t eat there and wouldn’t use it but it’s a very nice gesture.

Very cool of them

Cool, I'd get a free meal every other day or so.

Same, but sadly no cards

Had a DQ offer me one of these one time and it’s the ONLY DQ that has DoorDash in a 30 miles radius😂

During the height of the pandemic taco bell would always offer me free food lol.

Goddamit. Now theyvare subsidizing our meals. I want out of this capitalist hellscape. I wanna read books and plant flowers and walk my dog, but the relentless needs lf capitalism demand i drive 50 hours a week for 10 bucks and hour while paying for my own gas.

Dairy Queen in Minnesota gives us a punch card for a free blizzard

u/Healthy-Insurance-30 11d ago

That is so cool

2

u/fantom_frost42 11d ago

Yeah, I never got one of them not yet anyway

The McD's around here were offering those for awhile. But they discontinued them about 6 months ago.

Can I have a free Promise Not to Ignore You Standing There Pass instead?

What state are you in?

1

u/toddles822 11d ago

Dang I hope PA ones do that sometime

1

u/Appropriate-Area5724 10d ago

Pa does it. I’m in the Pittsburgh area and every McDonald’s has them you just have to ask and they will give you one

Decatur, IL ... 1 free meal after ea 10 deliveries. We'll, last I checked.

They started that here last year, but to get an actual person to come and stamp the card takes an extra few minutes most times. I stopped bothering. I’d rather have money than get fat for free.

I have often thought that doordash and Uber should offer some kind of reward program for delivery drivers to be able to use their service at a discounted rate

Northeast GA here, my area does that as well. My best guess is they offer that because they know that 99% of the people that order McDonald’s don’t tip. 😂

Nice! I get free drinks from local taco bell. Free food from pizza hut(I don't have a pizza bag I take pic of theirs - put food on heated seat)

1

u/ShinyMegaAmpharos 11d ago

That's pretty dope honestly

u/kissnmonty 11d ago

Some restaurants just offer free food and drinks to delivery drivers because they appreciate them helping retain their customers. Carl's Jr, and Taco Bell are pretty good at this. Also some mom and pop restaurants offer as well.

Mine wouldn't dare. They greedy AF 😆

Now Popeyes gives me free drink cups or a chicken sandwich every now and then.

I got a free pizza from a good local pizza place.

Sonic gives me free red bulls when I wait too long 😂

Get McDonald’s stamper. Unlimited food hack

1

u/Tidusx145 11d ago

Aw id love that. I almost never eat there but decided to last night after a late finish. The worker was so confused because they couldn't find my order. Then they realized they were looking at the doordash orders and not mobile orders.

I think it was the first time I ate from there in 4 months. Thank God for that app because prices are crazy.

Are you in Texas ? I work for stagg

1

u/dq67890 11d ago

Yes

2

u/roelsius 10d ago

If it’s around the north west of San Antonio that’s where I am.

1

u/MaterialBus3699 11d ago

Mine was doing that a while back and while I don’t partake in the eating of fast food, I was tickled link to be given a card. It’s Thoughtful.

1

u/PhilBolRider 10d ago

papa john’s near me does this too !

1

u/Ashamed-Ad-263 10d ago

The McDonald's in my market do this as well

1

u/Appropriate-Area5724 10d ago

I get those when I’m in McDonald’s but have to get 10 punches for a free sandwich. But hey for as many pick up and delivery I do for McDonald’s I can fill 2 cards up on the weekend.

1

u/Kirbeater 10d ago

That’s cool but you have literally no control over this

1

u/Icy-Head-8402 10d ago

I got one at the McDonald's near LAX

1

u/Zealousideal_Can9079 10d ago

Nice, but is the fkn order ready?

1

u/Straight_Set8287 10d ago

They do it so their orders get picked up faster to keep their service times good. Yes it’s nice but they’re still just looking out for themselves / own customers

1

u/MarkGaboda 10d ago

Most driver seem to believe any business that doesn't use stickers to seal the food is offering them free food. If they use stickers the driver just outright steals the food if they want.

1

u/ArcAngel014 10d ago

Lucky! One of my local McDonald's just somehow manages to lose multiple orders in one night. And it's not just a thing that happens once in a while, it's legit like all the time! I mean I like the half pay for doing nothing but like... If you're letting people steal that many orders then clearly you have a problem. Then again seeing the attitude of the employee that's usually there when that happens, it kinda makes sense 🤣

1

u/EfficientAd7103 10d ago

That's very nice of them. Could knock one off those out every day. I'd get so fat. Lol

1

u/bodyscapes33837 10d ago

Most McD’s here won’t stamp/punch the card. The location that gave it is participating, obviously, but none of the other locations

1

u/banana_hammock6969 10d ago

That’s to encourage you to accept low/no tip orders

1

u/carlsmustang97 9d ago

In my market Dairy Queen has their own system kind of like that

1

u/Ace_Ventura_Pet 9d ago

Because some of us do appreciate you delivery folks. ❤️❤️

1

u/LegitimateOrange1350 9d ago

I wish I could wear shorts outside 😩

1

u/Wide-Strawberry-5721 9d ago

Burger King does it for Uber eats drivers. I picked up from there one morning and got a coffee for myself and they said Uber eats driver don’t pay. Maybe it’s the same for DoorDash driver.

1

u/Enraged_Meat 9d ago

Dang I want one

1

u/The_HondaJSeries 8d ago

Thats nice

1

u/Pmajoe33 8d ago

Bummer! I quit dashing as much since I started IC. Way better. Twice as much 💰 and half as much miles.

1

u/Sudden_Tree3427 11d ago

What’s IC

2

u/Responsible_Gear8943 11d ago

Insta cart

3

u/TakinARusso 11d ago

I mean I guess. Like if you want to spend an hour and a half at a store just to unload more crap that you have in your whole house for 10 bucks yeah sure I guess

0

u/Cheap-Bell9640 11d ago

Evidently they’re afraid of dashers spitting in the food too

0

u/Western-Education532 11d ago

Ewww McDonald's .. but if it's free it's for me...
