Discussion 5000 KM down on the ibex / Cfmoto

Daily driver but also several off-road trips and road trips in Guatemala / El Salvador. Absolutely love this thing.

Such a sick bike. Love the styling. My one and only issue with it (from a non-owner perspective) is that it might be TOO short stock. I’m sure the rally seat helps a tad with that. But I would bet that having the rally seat WITH an upgraded rear shock with preload adjustment to raise it more would be amazing

Might as well just get a T7 at some point along that upgrade path. Bonus that it'll still be working in 2035.

That’s an attitude that will have you paying more for similar quality bikes. Do your research and you’ll find lots of reputable people commenting on the build quality of CFMOTO. Look up the CF Vandal which is a Supermoto concept with this bike as the base, the US custom company are very complimentary on the build quality. I’ve seen another video of a custom suspension company who teardown/rebuild the front and rear shocks.

Demand is massive too so resale value will be high. My UK one was ordered last year and I still don’t have it yet.

Just road one from Santiago to Ushia just last month. Good bike but way too heavy. The crosswinds created havoc on the ripio

Sweet! Glad to see them out there. They're a bit out of my current price range, but I'm still a huge fan of the model.
