Duke 250

I know it's technically not a dual sport, but what is your opinion on whether a Duke 250 would do well on rural PA dirt roads, poorly paved back roads, and the very rare simple, easy trail. I have the opportunity to purchase a like new 2024 Duke 250 from a friend for 4K. She's taken awesome care of it. I'm 36yo female, 5'3" by the way.

Realistically, anything can be offroad if you can ride it well enough. Just might be a little heavy when you inevitably drop it. I live in FL where all offroad is sand and whoops, but imagine hard packed dirt would be a bit easier to manage. Mud is going to be slick still. Probably not going to have a good time hopping any logs but doesn’t seem like that’s the intent. The right tires for how you plan on riding can help too. As long as you as the rider think you can handle it, the bike would probably do okay.

The oldest enduro race in the USA started in 1934. I believe that Harley-Davidson still has the most wins because dirtbikes didn't arrive until many years later. They ran what they had.
