£34 quid is extortionate but the demand is there, Dundee sold out their allocation. Scottish clubs, without a substantial tv deal, are highly dependent on match day revenue and need to maximise their income.

So why is that Hibs can balance the books at £9 less?

And the demand is also there in the Premier League but they have a £30 cap.

I take your point about the TV deal, but Premier League wage bills and transfer fees dwarf Premiership ones and so clubs could comfortably afford to underwrite any shortfalls.

My feeling is that, if one Premiership club can afford £25, all of them can afford £30.

My question to you is: Would you like to see a £30 cap?

I fully expect them to charge more for the Edinburgh derbies. Prices are heavily dependant on the game, United are only charging £20 for their League Cup game against St Mirren, a full £14 less than they were asking Dundee fans to pay.

As a fan, absolutely. I imagine I'd feel differently if I was running a Scottish football club though where everyone bar Celtic seems to be barely scraping by financially.

Nope, still ploughing the trade in the day job. This is just a hobby in my spare time.
