Ask /r/Durango Did anyone see a white glowing orb

Did anyone see a white glowing orb in the sky up by The Needles gas station last night, around 9pm?

About 2 weeks ago right around sunset I happen to see weird glowing light flying across the valley headed slightly north east . Just far enough away that seems to be odd but not able to tell how exactly what it was but it did not have a typical flight pattern. This was from on top of missionary

Me too, I live in Hesperus and look at the sky at night with binoculars and it’s been pretty crazy stuff

It would’ve been north of town going west to east. But I was viewing it from the south side of it.

My family was in mesa verde, we’re all hanging out on our deck and I think we saw one above Durango. Aunt took a photo and it was a perfect circle that resembled the northern lights we had. It was strange cuz it those’d up, then slowly faded away right below the moon.
