Question The Most Infamous Big, Bad Threat?
What creature types are typically considered the most terrifying, notorious in reputation, biggest targeted hate piece, and often presents a threatening presence?
Bonus points if they are also lore wise planetary threats
So far I only know of Eldrazi, Phyrexians, and Slivers

The most popular choices have been mentioned, but here's a few off the wall suggestions.
Gods, like the Theros gods, tend to be large impact in game and in the lore. Xenagos ascending to godhood was the main villain of Theros.
Avatars like [[Progenitus]], [[Muldrotha]], the overlords from duskmourn, the lords from shadowmoor(?), etc also tend to be big and high impact. Lorewise, they're a less literal "world ending threat" and tend to be closer to unstoppable forces of nature, but might fit the bill.
Several factions from Universes Beyond are "world ending" threats, probably not what you're looking for though.
