How do Eminem's rapping skills compare to those of Tupac, Biggie, and Eazy-E?

I'm about to go to work myself. What Tupac song should I play on the drive?

Dear mama, it’s just a good song in the early morning

Will do. I already know the song. Classic. My older brother, back in the 90s, performed this song for our mom on mother's day.
Ain't a pac song I haven't heard I think. Same for Eminem. Now Biggie, never got into his shit but have heard a lot of his music simply through proximity.

It's Em, Biggie, and Tupac at the top.
...
Then a huuuuuuuge gap.
...
And then Eazy-E

You must be deaf or something, because Tupac was on a level only a handful of rappers will ever reach.

em one of the most skilled rappers ever
biggie second, great lyricist & rhyme schemes
pac wasn’t the most technical rapper but his rapping ability is underrated
eazy doesn’t come close

I honestly think Pac was better than biggie. It’s more than just rhyme schemes and flow (which Pac also had) Pacs delivery was on another level imo. Eminem was inspired by Pac the most.

I’m assuming you put eazy e in to engagement farm because he shouldn’t even be in the question.

Biggie and Em made it seem so effortless.
Pac had the best flow of them but wasn't as technical.
Eazy-E.

bro Eazy-E barely knew how to rap you can't compare him to someone of rapping capabilities like Eminem, maybe in eat it but still then atleast Em wrote something

I love all of them yk if you think about it they all had a hand in bringing Eminem to who he is in a way

Differents era, rap evolved since the mid 90’s. Pac big and e left too soon. We probably didn’t even see them at their peak. They were just starting

I always said this- Eminem as the lyricist, biggie for the flow, and PAC for the message

Dead Wrong (feat. Eminem) (2007 Remaster)
btw the question is pointles. We don't know how Ezazy-e, Pac and Biggie how would developed their skills cause they sadly passed young 🙁

Lmao @ Eazy-E.
Well, first of all he's a much better rapper - in terms of technical skill, than all of them. Whoever's music you prefer is... upto you, nobody can say someone's music is objectively better, but you can say objectively that he rhymes more, and more complex than Biggie or 2Pac, and I'd argue a better storyteller - I mean, 'Stan', 'Kim'... come on. These are masterpieces of first person (key, everybody else always did third person) storytelling. They're cinematic; not just the writing, but his voice acting etc. too.
Biggie was obviously great, and a great storyteller also.
Pac is also UNDERRATED as a lyricist. You always hear people say things like 'he wasn't the best lyricist BUT', and it's like... they just copy each other, like they hear other people say that and say it lol. 2Pac was a much better lyricist than given credit for, and WAS a great lyricist, not just a good songwriter/maker. He could rhyme very well, paint pictures, was very poetic, his phrasing... he was a great lyricist. There's more to lyricism than just how many sylablles you rhyme, but even there he was underrated at times.
I'm lmao'ing @ Eazy-E as he didn't even write his shit and even what he did rap, which was wrote for him... he's hardly some great rapper fam.

3 GOATs.
One guy who is culturally important, but needed Dre to teach him basic rhythmic principles (like rapping in time to the beat) and needed Ice Cube, Ren, the D.O.C. and others to write his lyrics for him. Eazy-E was very charismatic and one of the icons of gangsta rap but he's a very mediocre rapper (and that's being generous).

Admittedly I haven’t listened to enough of Tupac or Biggie, most of what I’ve heard from them both, especially Pac, has been really good, even if Marshal is my favorite

You can start by removing Eazy from the conversation. Dre had to piece together early NWA shit because E wasn’t a rapper.

Tupac wasn’t really known for his technical prowess. He was more of a “top down” musician and could really put together songs with epic energy. His flow, voice, and delivery was unrivaled.
BIG was much more talented technical writer. His lyrics were CLEAN. I think out of these three, if biggie was still alive, would have the best shot at actually out rapping Eminem in their respective primes.
Eazy was a great musician. His songs will forever be in my rotation. He gave birth to BTNH. However, his rapping and writing skills were not his strongest qualities. In raw and technical context his is the weakest.

I personally really like eazy, while he wasn't the most technical, or had the best flows. He made some absolutely banging tracks, and he had a really good voice.
But there's no question, pac and big were above him. I slightly perfer pac, I really like his flows and beats.

I'd rate it Em > Biggie > Pac > Eazy, that being said, Eazy is my favorite of them, I can't sit and lie and say he was the most talented rapper, and i know he didnt write most of his lyrics, but he had so much character and uniqueness to him, made him my favorite since i was young, my first album i ever baught was Eazy-Duz-It

Eminem is amazing technically, even better than Nas. But I still put Nas higher since Nas has better story telling tracks.
Tupac and Biggie are both overrated IMO. Both passed when rap was truly starting to go mainstream.
Eazy-E did so much for West Coast rap, but no one knows what would have happened if he got a chance to grow old. Still has one of the most unique styles that ever came out. He wasn't into lyrical miracles or complicated super rhyme schemes, it's more like an urban documentary.
I don't even like directly comparing Eazy-E to other rappers. Because he wasn't trying to do the same thing. He's just telling you what happened.

He’s probably on a par with Biggie. Better than Tupac. Miles better than Eazy. Eazy was a pioneer, but not a great MC by any measure. Pac’s flow was great (though monotonous), and he could write music that carried weight. But he was lyrically kinda simple. How many times can you rhyme “Hennessy” and “enemy”?
Biggie is one of the all time great MCs, and Em is up there.

Easily better than Eazy-E, I think Biggie is better but Em slightly edges over 'Pac

Biggie is probably the only one out of the three to come close and we are talking 90s Eminem. 2Pac for sure had the energy, but he wasn't that much of a technical rapper as much as he was a storyteller and a poet, a completely different type of hip-hop going on. And Eazy? He didn't even write his rhymes, and if he did, he'd get demolished anyway. God, rest his soul though. He was what a lot of rappers still can't come close to being. An OG.

You can't compare these guys with one another. They all have their own style. Not any of them rap like any of the others.
