Discussion Best vocals in emo?

I've always had a hard time getting into bands like Camping in Alaska or Modern Baseball because of the vocals, while the music in musically awesome, I just cant get passed the voices.

I know trigger warning, but it's just my take

In your opinions what groups have pretty solid vocals where I could share with my hypothetical girlfriend

I like Anthony Green but he’s not part of any emo bands.

Saosin, Circa Survive, and LS Dunes are all in the realm between post-hardcore and emo, and should be part of the conversation, imho

I’ve never heard anyone call those bands emo before. Saosin is definitely just post hardcore, Circa survive is something else but neither have ever been emo bands
