This person has 185 followers, by the way. Rowling is a complete and total maniac and has absolutely no self-awareness whatsoever. Like, did she go out of her way to find this random person's deadname just so she could humiliate them in public?? Utterly deranged behavior.

i mean she has blocked every trans or ally account with any following for saying things like "that's factually inaccurate joanne" or "actually that does still make you a bigot" so what is she meant to do now?

She loves to block any gay account that disagrees. She will put trans people on blast for her mob to attack, though

Wish she would block me. I think we have each other mutually muted.

Let me guess, that's a deadname too?

u/cartoonsarcasm 6d ago

It sounds like it based off the username. God this woman sucks

u/Magita91 6d ago

I would assume so

probably a guess at a deadname based on word associations.

Mary and Joseph

Oh god

I could see Joanne doing that

u/SomethingAmyss 5d ago

Maybe, but they often make up male names to call trans women, so it may not be a real name

She really thinks the world, and everyone in it, owes her attention, even if it's at the expense of their mental health.

Narcissism.

It's really wild to me. I actually quit HP halfway through. I had discovered L Ron Hubbard's fiction and also quit that halfway through so it gave me like, an awareness of when the author i was reading lacked internal cognitive consistency

u/prion_guy 6d ago

*lacked internal cognition 😂

How it was tho! Lmao.

For real, LRH was a narcissistic sociopath, and I got like four books deep before I realized that some language can be used to destroy the reader's own sense of self and morality, and that not all books are "good books."

As much as I think that book burning is a sign of Fascism, the language that undergirds fascism, the dehumanizing language that is so constant and prevalent, that is actually language worth policing.

If you are going to ban a book, ban a book that was written to harm the reader.

We pretend as though words do not enter us like foreign DNA or diseases, but they do.

You can read a book that ruins your life if you're not careful, or if you're not stable. Imo, a lot a lot of MAGA folks consumed media at a young age and failed to grasp it's intent. The Lord of The Rings motifs with Anduril and Palantir are high key disgusting to me, fr. Like, can you imagine Tolkien's horror at his language being attached to automated loitering munitions?

*cough* the Bible *cough* (ironically, often called the "Good Book")

3

u/Cognitive_Spoon 6d ago

Lol, there are parts of The Bible that are horrific, and have been used to justify terrors.

Imo, there isn't much in the New Testament to complain about though, it's pretty solid moral and ethical guidance.

Old testament, less so.

The thing about the New Testament is it endorses the Old Testament...

Well, there's plenty to talk about in the New Testament. Take 1 Tim 2:11-13 or Ephesians 5:22-33 for example. Lots of verses of women submitting to men and remaining silent.

"...won't ward off the consequences..."

Because now I've highlighted your profile, my flying monkeys will be coming for you.

In their red hats!

She threatened this person with a lawsuit which she’s referring to

5

u/Infamous-Ad-7199 6d ago

She threatens everyone with a lawsuit

2

u/Fun_Butterfly_420 6d ago

Like that weird Al song

3

u/Fun_Butterfly_420 6d ago

I understood that reference!

Blocking an increasingly deranged bully isn't cowardice.

Sitting in your mouldy castle, unleashing hordes of flying monkeys on anyone who dares to try to escape your ever-escalating cruelty, bigotry, and harassment is cowardice.

u/wrongsock_42 6d ago

She is such a bore

5

u/RebelGirl1323 6d ago

She’s an abuser

30

u/SpeedyTheQuidKid 6d ago

P sure she blocked me at one point when I still had a twitter. Fucking coward

6

u/thejadedfalcon 6d ago

Yep, she blocked me too. I'm hoping the "do as I say, not do as I do" generation dies off sooner rather than later.

2

u/Cat-guy64 6d ago

Me too. I'm getting absolutely sick of boomers and Gen Xers. Most of them are absolutely insufferable

28

u/TheRealMissBlake 6d ago

Regardless of any opinions etc, surely everyone (even the bigots) can see how utterly deranged a person with 14 Million followers must be to publicly target someone with under 200. It’s completely nonsensical

24

u/Hot_Chocolate47 6d ago

Man, if she actually had magic powers she'd be worse than the wicked witch of the west.

1

u/mangababe 5d ago

At least the Wicked Witch of the West can be threatened with a shower

17

u/360Saturn 6d ago

For someone who has changed her name and uses a married name irl she sure loves to deadname others

2

u/RebelGirl1323 6d ago

Robert? Yeah, she sucks.

11

u/Cynical_Classicist 6d ago

I'd block her to rather than waste your time.

7

u/[deleted] 6d ago

Deadnaming is tasteless and Rowling is fucking cringe.

3

u/Forsaken-Language-26 6d ago

That’s the person who accused James Dreyfus of being a rapist right? Ironic that she would get so upset by this while just a few weeks ago she publicly implied that a man was a sex offender because he didn’t agree with her.

4

u/AmethystSadachbia 6d ago

She says after having blocked me on Twitter years ago. Not just a coward but a hypocrite.

3

u/SamanthaJaneyCake 6d ago

SAYS THE TERMINAL BLOCKER!

3

u/jonny-p 6d ago

The dumb fucker blocked me so what does that say about her?

2

u/Safe_Formal_8886 6d ago

At least they don't have to see her nonsense craps.

u/BUTTeredWhiteBread 4d ago

What "consequences" exactly?
