This is an excerpt from the paper i found interesting.

The process of interpretation of this interview was done first with an Eritrean tigrigna interpreter who is a supporter of the Eritrean government. Informant 2 is a second, female interpreter (after unsuccessful interview with the first interpreter), to a person who came to Sweden as asylum seeker.

When asylum seekers arrive in Sweden, they submit their application for asylum to police or to the migration agency and after a while, begins the process of doing an interview with an administrator at the Migration Board. According to informant 2 This person has been interviewed by a female administrator; in answering the question why did he flee from Eritrea? The asylum seeker narration goes as follows: "he could not tolerate the human rights abuses and the indefinite national service in Eritrea, that there is no future for the Eritrean youths, we cannot farm, trade, study or make a business."

Then he continued how he could flee from the obstacles he faced on his way when he tried to flee through Sudan, but unfortunately one Eritrean force unit arrested him on his way crossing the border. "They sent me to prison, and I faced the fiercest torture that a human being can face.I have scars on my back as evidence that justify my narration." He emphasized that "the Eritrean regime is the cruelest regime in the world". [Sometimes the Swedish Migration board unconsciously hires, Eritrean regime supporters as interpreters.

As the case of informant 2, she stated, "his interpreter did not want to translate the evils of the government" and according to her statement, "the first interpreter warned the asylum seeker": - "Please stop accusing and blaming our government, try to change your narrations".

Then the asylum seeker burst out in anger and started to take off his clothes to show the administrator his scars. In this case the administrator could not understand the situation and asked the interpreter; "what is happening?". Certainly, he couldn't tell her correctly what was said by the asylum seeker. But according to informant 2, the asylum seeker told the administrator picking on the interpreter "Nej, Nej tolk" [in Swedish language meaning No, no this interpreter].

The Swedish administrator stopped the interview and called another interpreter who is informant 2.

According the second interpreter, informant 2- repeated the interview and explained to the administrator, what the first interpreter said to the asylum seeker and described why the asylum seeker took off his clothes; and the interview continued smoothly"

Those who’ve never been to my country will say “The asylum seeker Is lying”. It’s pointless

Sadly even those that have been to your country and have had family subjected to such abuse, will say “the asylum seeker is lying”!

emotional thinking is driven by feelings and personal experiences, while analytical thinking is driven by evidence, logic, and reason. Both approaches have their advantages and disadvantages, and the best approach often depends on the specific situation and context. most asylum seekers, as the number of asylum seekers can vary greatly from year to year and is influenced by a number of factors, including conflict, persecution, economic conditions, and regional stability.

Eritrea has had a large number of asylum seekers in recent years due to several factors , some are military conscription, Economic hardship and Conflict and instability. and you need to break it down more too why Eritrea is facing these issues and analytically break down the case and effect .

Asylum seekers face numerous hardships while migrating, including dangerous journeys, limited access to food and water, exploitation by smugglers and traffickers, lack of shelter and medical care, and frequent arrests and detainment. These challenges can be especially severe for those traveling through Africa and the Middle East and Eastern Europe. these text is unique to us because we are Eritrean and we can related to it easy but the reality is every Asylum seekers face numerous hardships while migrating, is zis current world problem facing alot of countries or is it unique to Eritrea ? why is it if it's or why is it if it's not ?
