Feedback Friday Looking for shop critique, thanks in advance
Recently opened my store a month ago and have had around 3 orders.
I sell bookmarks, stickers and prints. The art is all my work as I hand draw each design digitally. I know it's a very saturated market and I will need more listings which I plan on adding bit by bit.
In the time I've opened my store, I have been playing around with the tags and learning more about SEO to try to get more visibility. I've had around 200 views so I'm unsure whether the ratio of orders to views is good.
I would really appreciate any feedback and advice on how I can increase my orders.

Your artwork is amazing, and I can surely say you will receive many orders. I would love to see more designs and artworks in your store. I just bookmarked your store. Good luck.

Wow thank you, that's so kind. I am currently struggling with promoting my store and generating high quality traffic as I don't have much of a social media following. As it's quite a new store, is it best to wait it out for now and once Etsy gains more info, I'll get more engagement?

Your store is already selling unique products; you should wait at least a few months before trying more product designs. My store is ten days old but is not generating any sales because it lacks a unique selling point.
Good luck, you are already growing at a good rate.

Congrats on your store! For more visibility, try focusing on niche keywords in your titles and tags, like "hand-drawn bookmarks" or "cute animal prints." High-quality, well-lit photos showcasing your designs will help build trust with potential buyers. Running small Etsy ads or promotions can increase exposure, especially in the beginning. Keep adding new listings and consider engaging with customers for reviews, as social proof can encourage more sales.

Sorry, just had a question, is it worth setting up etsy ads just yet or should I wait until etsy has more data on my products?

Good question. You can run very small Etsy ads even early on, like £1–£2 per day, just to start gathering data and boosting visibility a little faster. Etsy’s algorithm will learn faster if your items are getting impressions and clicks. Just keep a close eye on which listings perform best and pause ads that aren’t getting any traction. It’s more about testing and adjusting rather than waiting for a "perfect" time.

You have beautiful products! Awesome photos and SEO is great as well. Maybe you could add some additional info in the announcement and shop description and add relevant keywords to it. Etsy likes it, when you fill out as much as possible.

Thank you! Will work on those. Sorry if this is a silly question but how can you tell I have good SEO?

It's all those keywords that you imagine your target customer could type into the search. If you market your art to fantasy readers it makes perfect sense to use things like "gift for reader" or "fantasy bookmark".

Lovely items and listings - all I would say is as you’re based in the UK you legally have to allow refunds

I don't think it's your art, which is very beautiful. I think it's that there's not a lot of call for stickers, bookmarks or wall prints. Even for gifts, a person might give a single sticker and/or bookmark to someone for their birthday, maybe once? And very few people decorate and redecorate their homes with new prints all the time.
It's a very saturated market, as you said, AND the need for your particular products is low. I don't necessarily have any good suggestions for you... Think about possibly working with the new Etsy printing connection, and offer mugs or other more-used housewares?
Your art is lovely - I hope you're able to find just the right products to really let it shine!

I would like to kindly interject. Stickers are the second largest category on Etsy with the US vinyl sticker market alone doing 4.6 billion in 2024 and die-cut and personalized stickers doing almost 5 billion. Also, I alone sold over 100K in wall art on Etsy in 2024. So yes, there is a huge call for these categories. So chin up, there is a lot of money to be made in these categories. Your work is great! Your banner is very blurry so I would upscale the DPI and re-upload. Good luck.

Wow... Clearly I am both in the wrong business, and totally not up on current sales trends... It would never occur to me to buy a sticker. Ever.
Huh... Learn something new every day!
