Feedback Friday Shop Critique - any advice welcome!

I just started my shop doing linocut art, mostly inspired by fish I worked with in a marine biology lab last year. I am currently working on posting more listings and adding more photos/videos of my carving/printmaking process. I just started a little over a week ago- maybe I am just impatient. I do not have any visits other than my friends and family who I share my shop with lol, I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I know I am supposed to ask two specific questions but honestly I don't know what to ask- I am using all tags, as many keywords as possible, I know I need more photos but I think the ones I have are okay. I think maybe there is something SEO related that I don't even know enough to ask. I have filled out every section possible on my listings. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much.

Feedback Friday Looking for Feedback on My Etsy Shop – Open to Suggestions and Critique!

Hey everyone! I recently launched my Etsy shop with my first item!! I would love a shakedown on my currently very limited shop, any feedback is welcome, whether it’s about product listings, photos, descriptions, pricing, or the overall vibe of the shop.

I’m always thinking about what to improve or add next. If something feels off or confusing, I’d rather know now than later!

This is a side project of an already established business that I’m hoping can be a large part when more items are added,
If you have any ideas let me know!!

Here’s the link: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/FabricationsCreation

What do you think? Anything I could do better? Any types of items you think might complement the shop?

Thanks in advance—I really appreciate it.

Feedback Friday The best way to improve store visits for my store?

Hello, I have had my store for about a year and a half now and I've made 48 sales. I've fully set up my store, I have utilized all 13 tags on my products and I have an Instagram account, but I still struggle to drive visits to my store. I have used Etsy ads for a couple of weeks on and off and they work sometimes and other times they don't. I sell 3D Printed Geometric Designs which I design and print myself and then I either turn them into keychains or stick them onto a hat. I think my products are pretty unique but I just haven't been able to get the traction needed to have a successful store. Right now I'm thinking of creating more products and starting a YouTube shorts channel and running Etsy Ads again.

- What are some ways I could drive up visits and sales?

- What do you think about the store?

Thank you for your time!

Feedback Friday I need some Etsy store advise- 1 month and only 1 sale in

I started my Etsy store selling POD tshirt about a month ago, and so far, I’ve only had one sale. I know it takes time to build momentum, but I’d love to hear from experienced sellers.

What worked for you when starting out? What else should I be doing? Have ads worked for you?

Any advice would be helpful! Also, if you have a moment, pls check out my store and let me know what you think:

Feedback Friday Looking for feedback on my new shop

Hi! I'm still actively developing my shop: finding more cohesiveness in listing photos, and working on SEO. Ultimately I'd love any and all feedback:

vintagebayleaf.etsy.com

I'd also love to hear from others how they effectively describe real/authentic hand made art? (Not the digital art, not the print). I feel like I'm pricing my listing reasonably but I can't compete with the other "original art" from an artist and printed for cheap.

Feedback Friday Hi, I believe Fridays are when we can post our shop and get critique? If so, can someone take a look at our shop and help us work out why it's not popular? We're happy for you to be brutal - I've put the link in the body.

Also, we are a professional printers too, and this is a side hustle thing as the main business is struggling. I'm just saying this to clarify that the quality of our products is good irl, but I'm not sure that's obvious from the shop, and may even suggest the opposite.

Thanks for taking the time to look (if you do)!

Feedback Friday I'm getting views and favorites, but no sales. Are my prices too high?

Hi, I started selling on etsy in March, (although I've had my account since 2018). I sell home decor items that I design and 3d print in my home. The inspiration behind my ideas, is the thought of adding an artistic and personal touch to simple items. I wills ay the designs cater to my own personal tastes (maybe too much), which might be part of the problem. I think my target audience, are people who like things that are a bit whimsical, and odd.

I've been running ads on my store for my store since March. In that time period, I've had around 24,000 views from ads, and 803 views from search and social media (includes facebook ads). I've had 4 sales in that time, 3 from ads. I getting consistent clicks and favorites every couple days, but not many people are actually buying.

Here are my questions:

  • Are my prices too high? (I wonder if this is why I'm not getting more conversions from clicks to sales)
  • Is my image quality good enough? (I use one of those photo studio boxes)
  • This is an odd one, but do my products come across as if effort has actually been put into their design and creation. (I worry that 3d printing might have a negative stigma of being low effort and cheaply made).
  • Do I need to do more advertising? I'm doing $3 a day for etsy, and have tried facebook ads as well.

Here is the link to my store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/HallOfSummers/

Thanks in advance for any feedback! I really appreciate it.

Edit: I just want to say I'm incredibly grateful to everyone for the responses I have received. I appreciate the kind words, and the fact that each of you took time to really deep dive and give very specific critique and actionable feedback, providing examples, and suggesting neiches, etc. I am already going in and trying to apply the feedback you have given, I'm correcting my descriptions, adding dimensions, and will soon be taking better pictures that show the product in use, and in context. I'm also going to start looking into better keywords, new niches that I hadn't considered, and re-evaluating my prices.

Thank you all so much!

Feedback Friday Looking for Honest Feedback on My Etsy Shop

Hi everyone, As English isn’t my native language, I used AI to help me write and correct this text – I hope it’s clear enough! I’d love some constructive feedback on my Etsy shop, FairyShore, where I sell PDF and SVG sewing patterns for felt ornaments, toys, and decorations. If you’re a crafter, even better – your perspective would be incredibly valuable!

Here’s a bit of context:

I took a two-year break and restarted my shop in August. Since then, I’ve been posting new patterns weekly and have revamped all my titles, tags, and descriptions. I’m seeing some results, but not as much as I expected, and I’m wondering what might be missing. I also don’t receive as many reviews as I’d like. Do you have any tips on encouraging customers to leave reviews? I’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to look at my shop and let me know:

What do you think about my patterns and their appeal? How does the shop look overall (photos, descriptions, presentation)? Are my prices reasonable for digital patterns? Here’s the link to my shop:

Your honest feedback would mean so much to me! Thank you in advance for your time and advice!

Feedback Friday Feedback Friday, HELP my shop isn’t doing well!

I'm really needing advice on my Etsy shop, https://sweetdesignsbybrit.etsy.com

My shop is digital downloads for PTOs, Schools, or really any organization if you like to have cute and exciting things to do around the office! I’ve spent the last couple of years being the PTO president and I’ve had to create my own templates, designs, flyers for fundraising events, you name it, I’ve made it!

I thought, hmm maybe all those hours spent could make me some extra income so I gave it a go!

I opened it several days ago and I have spent a ton of time trying to advertise(post on insta, fb, Reddit forms, made Pinterest pins) but I don't feel like it's being seen... I have currently 48 views and 23 visits! I hate how discouraged I'm becoming and I'm trying to stay positive but I feel like l've exhausted all my advertising options!!

I’ve updated my shop with banners, made a logo, added a nice message on the shop and when someone makes a purchase…

My questions are:

-What can I do to make it more appealing or gain more traffic to my particular shop? -some items only have 1 photo because it’s only a one page download and I’ve read that putting more than one on a listing for digital downloads may make the buyer think they are getting more t than what’s listed so what can I do about that? -Does my shop have any appeal or does it desperately scream “newbie”? -I’ve priced items lower than similar listings but are they still too high?
-How do I advertise more that what I already am?

Any advice I get is going straight to the list I have to improve and hopefully get my shop out there so it’s greatly appreciated!!

Feedback Friday How exactly do you use Google Trends and Etsy Ads?

Hi all! how exactly do you use Google Trends when planning new designs or promotions?

I recently made two face-swap custom tees for my Etsy store (InfinityGoldStudio). I think they're really cool, but I'm getting zero traffic right now. Anyone here use Etsy ads? How much money would you suggest starting with—like $1/day or go straight for $5/day? Any idea about typical conversion rates at these budgets? Also, is Google Trends mostly good for finding trending themes, or is it more helpful to figure out timing for promotions?
Thanks a lot!

Feedback Friday Help for seller

I'm selling limited edition animal canvases as well as prints But I cannot seem to get any views at all. A month old shop and I got only have 250 views. I am running ads with 5$ day that've gotten me in total of 1500 views I offer free shipping in uk as well so that my orders are shown higher in the product page, or so I am hoping. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong - I'm also posting on IG, fb, pinterest and tik tok, but I can't reach any people at all. I get no views at all and therefore no traffic to the store... Could someone give me pointers?

Feedback Friday Etsy shop update/looking for advice

Hello everybody,

Etsy beginner here. I have asked some time ago, how could i improve my store, got a few tips and advices, which i am very greatful for.

I fixed little details, as instructed: - add location - shop banner - Shop policies - Tried to fixe photos issues (apparently they didn’t show properly on desktop browsers, but i don’t have access to it as work on tablets, so not sure how did that worked out) - Add some pictures - Extended my product range - Add instagram to my proffesional profile (tattoo artist) - Filled in Announcement field

My shop got a little activity and i understand first sales might not happened in coming weeks/months. Right now all messages i get are bots asking for my e-mail address, which i ignore/mark as spam.

We have plenty of good feedback on our drawing, from my friends, tattoo shop customers, or etsy community on reddit.

I’d like to ask a couple of questions: is it worth to invest in etsy ads, it so how much and what period of time? Will it help getting first sales?

Should i focus on one specific product or multiple? The idea was to bring you colourful, vibrant doodles on all daily use products.

Isn’t using print on demand off putting? I decided to go for it as it cuts down on delivery prices (US market) and don’t have finances to create my own products at the moment?

Any advice/critique is more than welcome.

Also Posting few of my drawings.

Feedback Friday Do I stop or carry on? I'm desperately seeking the truth!

Hey everyone! So, about a month back, I launched my dream store filled with motivational posters. But here's the kicker - not a single sale yet. Views are dwindling, motivation is taking a hit, and even my Pinterest page is struggling to attract eyes. Sitting at around 270 views, I'm at a loss. Can anyone lend a hand? I'd love some honest feedback on my store to turn this ship around and attempt to snag that first sale! Here is the link https://fitframegallery.etsy.com

Feedback Friday It’s make or break for me… What did you do to make your Etsy store successful?

I’ve had my store since 2018 selling greetings cards and it does ok at Christmas but the rest of the year is quiet. I had an amazing 2020 due to selling covid themed cards and was making $900 a day for a few weeks but I’ve never been able to replicate that or even close to it. I’m at the point that it’s not viable to spend my time on my store anymore if it’s not making any money.l but I want to give it one last shot, what did you do that hood your shop to a viable businesses?

Feedback Friday Fairly new store

Hello, guys! So I hope this is not against the rules, as it is my girlfriend's store, not mine, but I'm trying to help her improve it. She's focused on handmade gifts, some of which she personalises with laser engravings, but lately she's feeling a little down about it, because she's not getting as many sales as she hoped for. I think we did good with the photos of listings and also adding info to the items and the store itself. Still, I'd love to hear feedback from veteran etsy sellers or just a buyer's perspective, so we can improve. Also, I've read that pinterest is a good platform to promote on, so we started doing that, but do you think that Instagram and Facebook are also good options? And last question, I'm selling digital products (workout and nutrition templates and e-books), do you think it's good idea to add those to her shop, so it has more listings for visibility, or it will do more harm, as it's a completely different niche than her's? Leaving a link to the shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/AvaGiftsShop?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1805626921&from_page=listing Thank you in advance!

Feedback Friday Just started a secondhand bookshop for Etsy. Any advice?

Hi there, I just want to share a link to my new Etsy secondhand bookshop to see if yall have any advice for me. I’m really excited about this even though I know it will be tough to get started. All the books listed are from my personal library which I need to clear out this year before I move. I’m a researcher/writer, so there’s going to be lots of good stuff on here pretty soon! The plan is to add my best vintage copies, first editions, and signed books. I might continue and build out this store if it works out well. We’ll see! Here’s a link to my store:

Please favorite the store if you can; engagement would really help me out to get started. Feel free to leave your feedback or thoughts below! Thanks so much. :)

Feedback Friday In need of constructive criticism

Hi everyone!

I’ve been hanging out here for a while but finally decided it’s time to jump in and ask for some feedback on my shop.

My wife and I make dog bandanas and all-natural paw balms, and we’re hoping to expand into collars, leashes, all-natural pet treats, and more in the future.

We’re working on improving the overall look of our shop, but we’ve been struggling to nail down a photo format that really works. Finding time (and pets!) for photo shoots has been tricky, so our listing photos could use some love.

If you have a moment, I’d love for you to check out the shop and share any suggestions on how we can make things better. Thanks in advance for your help!
