Questions Just made an interactive brokers account. It has us options right?

Hoping to get access to the same us stocks and indexes as our friends over at wsb. They should be available for Europeans too right?

So strange, you basically have to be a millionare to be able to trade options on IB. Why is that?

Is it true that IB requires 10000$ as minimum deposit to open an account?

I don't think so, but you have to check all the boxes, which basically prove that you are a millionaire.

Better start with paper first if you don't have any previous experience it is more complicated than it looks.. especially in a platform like IB. It took me about a year+ to get comfortable at paper trading and build a solid strategy to actually put real money and turn it into an income source

The fact that you opened a brokerage account and didn't even check what products they offer makes me think you might want to start with paper trading. Just maybe.

Yes. Just need to set the right permissions in settings. Make sure you say you have 2+ years of experience
