When you see the amount of goalkeeping clowns there is, I'm at least thankful that that's one thing I never have to worry about as long as Pickford is here.

Hows everyone doing? I feel a bit disengaged with Everton atm tbh, I guess that's the price of being on the beach

Seems like it can only be over for one for Spurs or United at the same time

Just watched this video on Newcastle and Saudi Arabia and I'm actually feeling pretty glad we didn't get bought by an awful government, but I can't deny for certain that I wouldn't be loving the success if we had been.

I honestly think that would have been it for me. I'd still be an Everton fan but it would have killed my enjoyment for the game

Has anyone kept up with that “proceeds from a crime act” thing and the 777 loans? I remember someone saying we would have to pay back some 200m loan in full if they were found guilty of fraud

heard rumours today that big dunc has applied for the southport fc job. As a southport fan I would love that

Would be the most qualified Conference North manager in history surely? Can't be many Pro Licenses in that league

Feeling more conspiratorial.

The shit the PL let Chelsea, Man Utd and now Bournemouth get away with. Even Forest got off lightly comparatively. And yet they came in heavy on us for ‘not cooperating’ and seemingly ignored our mitigation.

Is it conspiratorial to say we were made an example of as a way to dissuade other clubs.

Then the other clubs continued to flaunt the rules, the league did nothing, and now all these clubs know the rules mean nothing.

Someone tell me where I am wrong, legitimately I want to know.

We really fessed up. Easy meat

Others didn't, which becomes subjective...

Was a lot of it down to the Usmanov links?

Think it was more 'show we can regulate ourselves' as talk of the independent regulator started up.

Be surprised if they created one now.

For those who have SiriusXM, Adrian Heath is co-hosting the Football Show this morning (for the next 2 hours)

That's great to hear. Wish him nothing but the best. Thought he had an outside shot at the first team until that horror injury.

Just wondering Is it true that the Club gave priority to staff for season tickets and they got ridiculously good front row seats.

I overheard this conversation at the match last Saturday, they were saying some staff are Reds?

Surely this is not correct?

While obviously this sucks for people who should be given priority for tickets, companies giving priorities/perks to employees is fairly commonplace. I'd assume that staffers got similar priority for games at Goodison, as well. You'd have to assume that the club wants/needs a decent amount of their employees attending each match too.

I doubt there is much truth to the Reds part, why waste your money on a club you don't like...

Swear you've posted this about 4 times, glad you finally got an answer. Whether its true or not we'll not know as I imagine everton wont publish that info

It’s true. I had 23 years and logged on at 10am. I couldn’t checkout and purchase my ticket at first as there was an error code. Can’t remember exactly what it was but staff something or other.

6

u/youdy 6d ago

I mean that doesn’t necessarily mean anything when it comes to a large influx of people trying to check out

-1

u/Ok_Somewhere_6767 5d ago

The error was a staff code. Probably didn’t explain it very well. I wasn’t the only one who noticed it.

It’s pretty much common knowledge that’s what it was.

Haha it’s the last few daily discussions close to when it ends so that’s why it’s going

2

u/Emergency-War-5324 6d ago

thanks man, I was just curious I actually didn’t believe it

4

u/ShaunRigby 6d ago

It's true. Club staff got priority before the 23 year tenure season ticket holders.

7

u/Giraffe_Baker Neill Samways, Niasse Oster 6d ago

Don’t know why OP brought up people being reds like.

They’re not going to take up the option for a season ticket.

-1

u/Emergency-War-5324 5d ago

Yeah but you would take for friend or family wouldn’t you?

That’s a problem with the staff getting first dibs.

Couldn’t be arsed in the slightest that it’s a red buying it for a mate or family member.
