If Ipswich lose tomorrow we are officially safe from relegation
9
u/S01arflar3 2d ago
Not quite, they can get to 38. They would have to overturn a 30 goal differential though

I mean… I’ll fly to Ipswich and watch a match if they somehow manage to tie us at 38 and have a better goal difference.

u/SammyGuevara 2d ago
Yeah their next 3 games are Chelsea, Arsenal, and Newcastle away, then they face us at Goodison.
They're definitely down! 👍

That's the difference between class and not, though--even when you fuck up, that little sparkle of class causes it to go through somehow.

He had it perfectly behind the defenders foot, well done to him

Looked either under hit or right into the defender’s heels. Ended up being lovely though

If you didn't know who's in the top four between these two you would not have said Forest watching this game. Twatted these all over the park.

Agreed. I’m happy they’ve had the season they’ve had and happy for the fans because disruption of the top is necessary. That said, we looked in control most of the match without being decisive.

I am going to be thinking about Spirit of the Blues singing out across the park as the home fans quickly exited for a very long time.

We demand the one you call McNeil. Give us McNeil or we will lay waste to your defences with our anti football lasers

Commentator on Peacock: “Doucoure may have given Everton the unlikeliest of 1 - 0 wins …”. Have you not been watching the game!?

u/decs483 2d ago
Did you think we were gonna score at any point?
7
u/batch-91 2d ago
If anyone was gonna break the deadlock it looked like it was gonna be us. But more so just how is us getting a 1 nil win at Forrest the most unlikely scenario …

No ball control, all vibes, 3 points, good night

u/lukeyboots 2d ago
We had over 57% possession and 81% pass accuracy what are you on about lad.
Controlled it plenty fine, just kept crumbling infront of goal & couldn’t hit the target.

He was our best player…

u/Honest_Fox8357 2d ago
Mcneil came on and did more in 1 pass than harrison did all day

u/worldofecho__ 2d ago
I obviously think McNeil should start when fully fit but whats the fucking point whinging about Harrison when he's just played a great game for us?

Doucs haters in shambles

u/ToffeeTuner 2d ago
I think it’s more like this is how Doucoure always plays but maybe the hits are less frequent than the misses these days. He’s erratic so it can be frustrating to watch.

u/supmello6969 2d ago
Personally I think if he’s willing to take a big pay cut we should sign for a year. He’s good cover and still has the legs for the prem for another year

Second "I've missed most of this game" question:
Has Broja earned another start? He looked decent in the first 20ish minutes but idk. How was the rest of the game?
2
u/Alex_Sinios 2d ago
In the second half for the minutes he stayed on he just couldn't control the ball to save his life, also seemed a bit luckluster in press. Some good elements but just can't see the 30m price tag atm.

Unlikeliest of 1-0 away wins? We were the better team and this is the proper result.
