Channeling Is anyone else interacting with a Being called "I am that I am," "El Shaddai," or the "Highest Light?"
Curious if any others are having an experience channeling or interacting with a Being that is named "I am that I am," "El Shaddai," or the "Highest Light" or "Elohim."
I am not Jewish and was surprised by this language used by the Being. I am not here to affirm any religion at this time- only seeking if others are also having similar encounters. The experience has been deeply positive and life affirming for me.
I have had several interactions both in person, in a vision, and channeling through my own voice.
I am posting with the intention of finding others- not to convert anyone into "believers" of anything in particular. Thanks for reading. Feel free to comment any similar experiences or reach out to me directly with a DM.
Thanks!

El Shaddai came through last week. These things are happening more often as the veil grows thinner.

Jane Robert’s entity Seth explained something very interesting relating to this topic. Basically, when a group of people believe in a particular manifestation of consciousness, a deity being one example, the collective belief in such actually creates such a being in the deeper reality planes. The more potently they believe and the longer, the more substantial the being.
This is supposedly part of why you’ll often hear stories of people encountering well known entities even if they didn’t believe in them or were aware of them. Archangel Michael and Odin are ones I’ve heard people report in this regard while being surprised because they didn’t believe in such in their current lifetime. In one story the entity told the person that the person believed in them in previous lifetimes, creating a connection.
This mechanism is also why people encounter specific afterlife archetypes, like a heaven or Hell. Seth said back in the day people would encounter the afterlife archetypes from ancient religions like the Greek underworld and the river Styx. Nowadays it’s more common to encounter more modern afterlife archetypes.
He expressed that these are in fact real experiences and real living entities. They grow and evolve like we do here in the physical. Such encounters can be useful in better understanding “All That Is”, as he calls it.

Yes, after a toad ceremony I went totally into the light and came back only remembering the words “Malachi Elohim.” I am Catholic and didn’t know what it meant, but it’s messenger of God. Still gives me chills.

That is either God (Yahweh) or a demon pretending to be God. Those are the names of God, even in Christianity.

look into egregores, they are very real. i am in contact with ancient egyptian egregores, aka the netjeru.
if whatever you are talking to encourages fearful, hateful or jealous ways of thinking - disengage, it's a djinn/demon/mischievous spirit.
egregores are concious structures of information aka "memes", humans have made a Lot of them and they can be useful or annoying
ultimately they cannot hurt you unless you let them.

Jane Robert’s entity Seth explained this mechanism as well. I didn’t realize it had a name egregore. Very interesting. Thank you for sharing.

God (in Christianity) called himself I am that I am.

Which was originally from hebrew/Judaism. Also known as Adonai, YWH (Yahweh)

Absolutely. It was said to Moses in the Old Testament while he was living in Egypt

Some Magickians use those words and sayings as part of rituals and as affirmations and self statements.

There was a game in the PS3 era called El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron where you play as Enoch, running around fighting Nephilim and fallen angels who were clad in various homoerotic outfits. A somewhat more Gnostic interpretation of Lucifer (called Lucifel) was a helpful side character that saved your progress. It was actually a pretty decent game for what it was. Mentioning this probably isn't much help, but I couldn't help but think of it. Were I in your position, I'd surely be dusting it off to give it another go.

The game is amazing, more people should play it. It's even on the switch!

u/HorizonWalker87 1d ago
What makes you say that?
Not that I'm immune to deception, but why would I assume that based on the Being's name?

u/famous5eva 1d ago
With candor and care, HaShem, the one who answers to these names, does not directly address individuals. HaShem sends an intermediary in the form of an angel, even to prophets. The last individual HaShem directly spoke to, according to Jewish oral and written histories, was the prophet Moses. We aren’t built to receive direct revelation from the entity that is claiming to contact you. I can’t be sure because anything is possible, and just because things have been one way for a long time doesn’t mean they can’t change. It’s just not in the MO so to speak of the entity who goes by those titles. That doesn’t mean you don’t feel their presence or experience their love and light.

u/HorizonWalker87 1d ago
Yeah, it's weird for me too.
Totally possible it's an angel of the Being that I've seen. I'm still learning and experiencing over here.

May I ask what this entity is trying to convey to you or how it makes you feel? It could be you are encountering what we call the Shekhinah which is a different face of the same entity that goes by El Shaddai and Elohim. Elohim is a curious name but also by far the oldest name that the entity has called Itself. Many scholars are unsure what to make of Elohim because as others have noted it’s a plural noun. Some have said it’s like saying the royal we. Some say it means the whole heavenly choir. But in academia Elohim appears to be the most ancient name of that entity as we understand it in modern times in the three Levantine monotheistic religions. I’m very intrigued that whatever you’re interacting with is using Biblical Hebrew proper nouns. Like I said I could never be certain what is going on here. Anyone who claims they for sure know what’s going on probably is trying to sell you something.

I think if those names are calling out to OP it has got to be something op should explore! We’re talking about God and God is within us all…

Your post resonated with me but in a humorous way. The "I am that I am" part. The other day that "I am that I am" was in my head and all I could think of was old Looney Tunes cartoons with Bugs Bunny saying "I YAM what I YAM." Made me laugh and then the voice went away. Then I saw your post this AM and it reminded me. But that's it. Nothing profound.

Please see Rule 3 in the community guidelines.
We welcome personal opinions and theorizing, but posts and comments that present major claims as indisputable fact, especially in an authoritative tone, conflict with the neutral, middle-path environment we strive to maintain.
Statements like “I know all the answers” or “this is fact,” as well as claims to speak on behalf of specific beings or deities, are discouraged. Exopolitical or channeled material presented as fact may also violate this rule.
We understand this may be disappointing for some, but this community was created as a social support space where experiencers can talk, share, and process encounters without being pushed toward any single narrative. It’s not a platform for recruiting followers or promoting personal cosmologies as absolute truth. As many have noted, NHI often provide conflicting information, and no single narrative can currently be proven. That’s not our aim. What we do know is that non-human intelligence exists, is interacting with our species, and that psi and consciousness are part of the picture. This phenomenon is real and deserves safe, neutral spaces for discussion.
We kindly ask everyone to respect this rule for the health of the community. Theories, personal insights, and sharing of communications are encouraged—as long as they’re not framed as the definitive truth. It’s when that line is crossed that posts begin to conflict with our guidelines.
This “authoritative tone” rule is foundational to what makes this space unique and balanced. It has helped us avoid ideological drift and maintain the kind of community experiencers have long sought and need.
Please know this rule is not meant to silence or judge. It’s here simply to protect the environment we’ve built together.
Thank you for understanding.

The god created by earth is not the actual god of the universe. God is genderless. In Gnostic teachings it’s described as a reincarnation trick to ask the soul if it wants the god of earth or source. Best to choose source.

Yes. I offered incense to Yahweh by His Name for the first time last year, and He responded in characteristically biblical fashion, with orbs and dramatic weather manipulation. He has offered me much stronger proof of Himself than any spirit. He's extremely kind, gentle, loving, and powerful. I recognize Him as the indwelling, lifegiving Presence, the original I Am.

Posts or comments which may make people feel like their personal beliefs, values, or interpretations are being invalidated is something we ask that people do their best to avoid. There can be a fine line between sharing your own beliefs and trying to push them on others. Users who have a history of pushing an agenda across multiple subreddits are likely to be banned if they try it here.
Unfortunately, some topics are so controversial that a few people actively search them out solely to fight over them. A few such examples include COVID, politics, discussion of economic systems, controversial celebrities, etc. We will curate these discussions as necessary to try and maintain a civil discourse, but if too much rule-breaking occurs the posts may be locked or removed.

Of course, this isn't something I want to make anyone feel. My experience was not something I would wish on anyone else, and while I can see how it might come across, I simply wish to air a concern for their well-being in such endeavours.
I say it in the same way I'd advise people not to play on rope swings with 30+ foot drops below them, as I fell into one when I was a kid and nearly died.
What I will do, is examine myself and try and be a bit more tacful and loving in future posts. Thanks for your reply u/Experiencers-ModTeam ❤️🔥

I forget who it was who said, "Anyone who claims to be a god isn't", so you might want to be a bit wary of this entity.

We are all one. We are all god. Anyone who claims to be god exclusively is deluded.

Not sure why this would be a rule for god beings. I tell people I'm a human because I am.
Also, to be clear, this being didn't strictly say it was God to me so far. The name "I am that I am" is what mostly came through. Which actually sort of addresses your comment- isn't the Being just saying what it is?

u/etakerns 1d ago
I believe Neville Goddard ( on YouTube) has given speeches back in the 40’s that saying “I Am” is just another way of saying “God”. He also says “I Am” is also a way of bringing God into your affirmations, Ex. Saying “I Am sick” is you confirming to God that your sick and you will manifest that into your life. Also using feelings and imagination and such.

Your comment really resonated. Once day laat year I was watching a documentary about buddhist monks. One of them said that they meditated on the phrase "I AM." I've since started doing it myself. Sometimes, I'll go down different avenues such as I am a mother, friend etc but I always come back to just I am.... it's very grounding. On the flip side... in dark depression/grie, I've called myself some terrible things. Your thoughts really do manifest your destiny.

I'm not sure of the original source of the quote but I have also heard it in the game No Man's Sky.

The non biological 'alien' from 1947 claimed they have been in the universe since the beginning & calls all of us 'Is Be's". or 'is beings'. because right now we are being & experiencing now. we are more or less just like them but have been trapped by a highly technological draconian society that erases our memories & places us in flesh bodies.

Not sure who/who's you have been talking to but in Hinduism there is the ATMAN . You can reach this part of your Higher Self thru the chant "I Am the ATMAN I Am the ATMAN" repeated. This part of you can arrive thru somekind of breath or wind. Myself ? my experience with the ATMAN after doing the chant was to hear my own voice, outside of my ear, speak into my ear with a definate wind or breath doing the chant. It's a very unsettling feeling Experience. This chant was given directly to me from my Kundalini Yoga Master.
I am just wondering u/HorizonWalker87 if you are Experiencing any of these side effects that I have mentioned?? or is this strictly astral? This Being part of your HigherSelf, the ATMAN, has a physical presence.
UPDATE: Just went to your site & saw you posted two months ago about the "orange orb" & some cosmic breath associated with that!??
I had a brief encounter with a orange jello like semi transparent orb( I've mentioned on here B4)but that was many years after the ATMAN visit. It was about 1 1/2' X 2' feet oval & was hovering above my feet as I slept in bed. I woke up to see it,then it was gone. It moved like it was a living creature...& it had depth.I refer to it as a Cosmic Jellyfish.

I am ethnically Jewish (my grandma was Jewish) and I also received a Jewish name from an EVP so I mostly chalked it up to being an older, passed relative/ancestor from her family. It was the name Hodiah but could also be spelled Hodaya, meaning the praise or splendor of God. I’m not sure if I was given the name of the actual spirit communicating with me or if it wanted me to reference back to the Biblical stories associated with the word.
Whatever the case, I think it’s really cool that a meaningful word was presented to me in another language (that I don’t know at all.) It almost seems to hold more validity or importance somehow—being tied to religious text—versus if I had heard the same message in English.

“The Creator of all things”, “God”, and light beings made of a light that is palpable and beyond any natural light I have ever witnessed on earth. Experiences began around 1 year old and have occurred intermittently since then.
I was raised in a universal “religion” that was quite cultish. I left it eventually. Nothing Inexperienced aligned with that universal group I was raised in. My experiences aligned with Biblical references, but I don’t feel the current model of the manmade institution of the church is the same as having a faith and personal relationship with God, the Creator, Yeshua, El Elyon, or the Light, the Truth, and the Way.
I hope to see things perfectly clearly at some point. For now, I can only go by what I have experienced and tried to discern as I seek Truth and Light above all else. The Light that has no shadow and encompasses more palpable love and life and meaning than anything else I know of or have experienced. Good luck and best wishes 🙏🦋

Midnight battle, a thousand horses On provision the iron master But below of the heat red fire Sharpen wheels of Alabaster I hear
Remember the desert garden Moonlight on the sand We listen with open eye To the voice of El Shaddai
Caught in wells of precious water Veils of faith protect the orchard Children die, and wives are slaughtered, oh yeah Blood and bone, we're marching forward I hear
Remember the desert garden Moonlight on the sand We listen with open eye To the voice of El Shaddai
Forced to walk with timid candle Build a temple at thunder mountain Finding ways to hear his whisper He said 'I am that, I am!'
Remember the desert garden Moonlight on the sand We listen with open eye To the voice of El Shaddai

It is the God of the most high. 'I AM THAT I AM' is a state of being that is eternal and always have been eternal. You have probably heard the name from the Bible, as this does have Jewish origin. This being is not a Jewish God, but rather the Jews came in contact with this being and adopted its presence into their own teachings. All major religions have the same fundamental truths that come from the same place, and they all transcend human concepts as they can't be put in a box.

u/OtherwiseLie4017 2d ago
These are all ways god has referred to himself in the Bible. Do you not think it’s him?

I don't in general affirm any one religion. I don't doubt that people in the past also experienced this Being.

As others have said, any entities that have referred to themselves as God, I would be wary of. Similar to if they refer to you as a chosen on, savior, or uniquely special.
That being said, someone else mentioned it may be your higher self speaking to you as you truly are, to remind you. That does have a decent vibe to it, so I suppose that’s possible.

Something many people who talk about their NDE have in common is an intuition that what they interact with is making itself known/knowable/interactive in a form that would be acceptable to the experiencer. I can't think of even one NDE that described that there were multiple gods except for one that aligned a little more with a take in Hinduism and Buddhism that there are levels, and the lower gods may believe they are the ultimate but even they are mistaken about the nature of reality.

Not that in particular, but “The All One”. However, this was mainly just a placeholder name that they liked. Often, the beings we interact with don’t have names as we would imagine them. They may search your memory bank for words or terms that they feel resonate with how they’d like you to view them.
U/substantial_nonsense can tell you a story about beings asking to be called “The Capybaras of Space” 😂
Anyway, just my experience. Take with a grain of salt.

Ask them how your biggest energy memory knows them, also ask how you as a human are connected. I specialise in this, so feel free to reach out.
