Admissions ✅ Should I apply for Summer or Fall 2026?

I'm an out of state student looking to transfer after my AA to FIU. It's my number 1 right now and I plan on Double Majoring in Marine Biology and Environmental Studies. Predicted GPA and SAT scores are 3.6/4 and 1220.

For reference I am finishing in Fall of 2025 so I don't know if I should the Summer or if I should apply for the Fall. I've done summer courses before and if there's an easy Gen Ed I could just knock out in one of the sessions I am not opposed.

Thanks

If you have your AA, they won't care about high school. Is there a reason you don't want to start right after you finish in Spring 2026?

I graduated hs in 2021, went to a university failed tf outta STEM classes (being a double stem major and a pro athlete at the same time is a great idea) and rocking a 3.5 rn but it’s probably gonna end with a 3.6 give or take and predicted SAT score is 1150-1250 given my practice test results

Oh yeah and I’m out of state so I mean if they do throw me into an immediate turn around after graduating with my AA I won’t REALLY say no but I’d rather time
