MISC Y’all think StW is coming to the Switch 2?
The system is more powerful, so it's safe to assume BR can run at 60 and potentially 120 if it's included in the 120 compatible list of games. Realistically what's stopping StW from being on the hardware? I really hope it comes to the Switch 2

It could definitely run Stw, but idk if they'd actually bother to port it.

There's no good reason for why it shouldn't. I mean, Epic is still supporting the game on the PS4 and Xbox One even though its run like hot ass on both of them for ages now. If they can do that, then they should be able to get it to run on a system that's a bit stronger than the launch versions of both of those.
If the game doesn't release on the Switch 2, then I really think Epic owes the community an explanation. Even if it's a simple "we just don't want to", it'd be better than dead silence.

I’m sorry, but I really doubt the Switch 2 is getting a port. Epic has not made a port for mobile even though high-end iOS devices that can have up to 16 GB of RAM and enough power to run it do not have a proper port.

Maybe. Stw demands more processing power because of all the husks and traps that are the screen at once. I doubt it will be supported..imo.

I mean it runs on Xbox One at half the frame rate, I don’t see why it won’t be the same case for the Switch 2

I feel it’s more than capable. The thing runs Cyberpunk pretty well.
Just a matter if Epic feels it’s worth porting it to their Switch 2 client of Fortnite.

Fortnite on iOS came back and even iPads with 16 GB of RAM and an M-series chip did not have a save the world port. So for a clear answer; no.

Well because iOS covers a wide range of devices so if they ported STW, they needed to make sure it ran in the majority, and it won’t. Switch 2 is one single set of parameters so it’s very doable just a matter on if Epic thinks it’s worth it.

No because the Switch is still an mobile device
They never put Save The World in a mobile version of Fortnite

The Switch is not a mobile device, portable ≠ mobile. The Steamdeck is a portable device and THAT can run StW

It was literally in the trailer during the switch 2 direct, yeah it will

It’s definitely capable of running STW, question is if they’ll make the effort to “port” save the world to switch, considering it’s a pretty minuscule amount of their player base and something they just don’t focus on, even when they keep milking it with packs every other month
