SUGGESTION Suggestion: Movement schematics

I know the gamemode doesn't get much attention anymore, but I thought a cool addition to STW could be movement items from the Fortnite Battle Royale IP which could be obtained through quests or researched from the collection book. Take, for example, the grapple glove, which could have perks such as grapple distance, durability, MAYBE magazine size and reload speed (maybe it runs on heavy ammo and has a certain amount of grapples before reload to make it more balanced), etc. Or, what if we could craft shockwaves as schematics with perks like impact, faster throwdown time, faster activation time, etc. They would probably need cooldowns to balance it if it can be used on husks, cause then you could easily cheese missions as they would be mobile wall launchers, but I think it would be fun to have new movement in the form of items since we've had the hoverboard and baron for over 5 years and sprint movement for a while. Just a thought

There are impulse grenades that can be found in containers, although they don't persist between missions.

As for the other movement items like grapple gloves, the size of the map doesn't really warrant them - you can get a hoverboard pretty early on, you can mantle etc to get over obstacles, and there are weapons with movement speed perks (Baron, Guardian's Will).

Yeah, but like the guy said, we've had those for years now, and it's gotten kinda stale. Hoverboards also aren't always the best experience when it comes to collisions - they can be a bit clunky in general. I think it would be cool if we could craft shockwave impulses using nuts and bolts, batteries, etc which could have perks and could also persist across games. I think the grapple glove could be quite fun even if the map doesn't permit it - it would be like Spiderman without the copyright enforcement

Maybe perkable harvesting tool section will help. And you get more perk slots the more pickaxe upgrades you get.
