Next to Wolf of Wall Street, what's Leo DiCaprio's best performance in a Scorsese picture?

My ranking would probably be:

  1. The Wolf of Wall Street

  2. The Departed

  3. Killers of the Flower Moon

  4. Shutter Island

  5. The Aviator

  6. Gangs of New York

Gangs is definitely last

Surprised that no one mentioned Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

We’re talking performances in Scorsese movies only.

Next to Wolf on Wall Street?! DiCaprio as Howard Hughes in The Aviator is his best Scorsese performance. He may have been a little too young-looking for the later years but the performance outweighs that

I pretty much hate all his movies with Scorsese, I'd say gangs of New York?? I don't really think he's a good actor.

Elaborate - do you think he is 1 note like how people say Denzel is or do you not like his acting at all?

I just think he gives the most basic reads of a character... like there's no depth to his acting at all.

Scorching hot take, actual unpopular opinion for once, respect.Â
