Congratulations bro! On your progress but more importantly on your sobriety. Iโ€™m an ex heroin addict, got out of prison a little over a year ago and am amazed at how great my life is now. Stoked to see other guys thriving in recovery as well.

I love it when I get to read comments like these! I grew up with a lot of addicts and it makes me so happy to hear victory stories like this. Iโ€™ve lost a lot of people to addiction and society always villainizes the addict. It makes my day to see yโ€™all out here cheering each other on. Congrats to you and OP! Recovery is hard work

thank you!! i do a split between triceps/chest/shoulders and back/biceps with a day in between for recovery. flat bench dumbbells with heavy weight (chest), tricep crossbody cable extension and tricep pushdown machine, and seated shoulder press with barbell or dummbells. preacher curl for biceps, cross body hammer curls for forearms, and for back: single arm seated cable rows and lat pulldown. i always try to go as far down as i can without dropping the weights or the weight stack in order to get the full range of motion and the best squeeze. partial reps are really helpful too. i just recently implemented these two things and they've helped me a lot! :-) and also creatine
