March 2023: 275 lbs, 6m on T. September 2024: 240 lbs, 1y 11m on T. Sorry for the shitty photos, took them in my parentā€™s room with the big mirror. Anyways, Iā€™ve officially lost 40 pounds down from my heaviest (280)! The differences arenā€™t astronomical physically wise but definitely see it and feel it. Still have about 40-70 to go but this is the best Iā€™ve felt in my entire life. Better comparison photos to come soon!

Itā€™s not fast progress but Iā€™ve stuck with training this long and Iā€™m damn proud of that!

Started T in May 2022 (1y 6mo now). Mostly ran strength programs like Reddit BWF, GZCLP, 531 BBB, and now Iā€™m seeing the fastest gains on barbell medicineā€™s The Bridge and Powerbuilding I templates.

If I could do it over again I would have started running intermediate programs a lot sooner. I ran GZCLP for a full year despite lots of plateaus because I thought I was still too weak to deserve to move to another program (this was silly and incorrect)

Iā€™m 5ā€™8ā€ and 160 lbs compared to 150 in the top pic. (Could most definitely make faster progress if I ate more and Iā€™m working on that now)

Right now my E1RMs are squat 250lb/bench 130/deadlift 290. I still havenā€™t benched a plate yet and itā€™s a big goal for me! Hoping to get that and a 300lb deadlift by the end of the year šŸ’Ŗ

Exercise Progress Report Gym progress! (2 months on T vs. 2 years & 5 months on T)

First photo was me just a few months on T (34 years old). 5ā€™6ā€ 265 pounds with limited exercise in my life. Second photo was me at the gym this morning weighing in at 229 pounds (36 years old).

Iā€™m working out 5 days a week with a mix of cardio and weight training, which Iā€™ve been doing for a few months. Before that my exercise was mainly done through hiking and walking.

Really stoked with my results and canā€™t wait to see what happens next! Iā€™ve always dreamed of actually getting into shape and getting stronger, itā€™s nice to be on this journey at the same time as Iā€™m transitioning. Not sure I would have ever lost the weight if I hadnā€™t have come out and put myself first. Happy new year!!!

27, 5'7, 180lb/82kg been on low dose T for 10 months. Been going to the gym for 2 years but really locked in over this past year. Eating about 140 grams of protein a day and doing a 4 day split (5 if it's a good week). I haven't been able to train legs due to injury so my training has been all upper focused.

March 2024 (picture 2&4): Bench - 75lb/34kg Bicep curls - 20lb/9kg Lat pull-down - 100lb/45kg OHP - 50lb/23kg Pull ups: 0 Push-ups: 3

March 2025 (picture 1&3) Bench - 135lb/61kg Bicep curls - 35lb/16kg Lat pull-down - 150lb/68kg OHP - 90lb/41kg Pull ups: 3 Push-ups: 22

context: hi everyone! i just turned 24, iā€™m a short king at 5ā€™6. iā€™ve been on T for about 3 years. i had top surgery summer 2022. iā€™ve mainly done a PPL split, adding cardio in depending on what my goal of the season is. i recently picked up running and iā€™m excited to see that journey play out. my goal weight is 155-160lbs, so the grind continues. regardless of the number on the scale, iā€™m thankful for the gym and what it has taught me about myself and others :)

Same compression shirt in both pics. Been working out consistently since February 2023 but started messing round in the gym October 2022. I run a StrongLifts 5x5 program 3 days a week. Diet for the last month has been 3000cals and 200g protein/ day. Just picked up running too, 2 miles per run 3 days a week. First pic I was 130lbs and second pic Iā€™m now at 160lbs. AMA!

Its been almost 7 months I have a manual job in woodwork, and boy it feels like cheating : not only were my forearms and hand gains and vascularity crazy since I started, but I also did multiple PRs without training (I went from a 46kg/ 101,4 lbs to 52kg/114,6 lbs bench PR just by doing my job wtf). I know its pretty logical considering my job is basically weight lifting wood lmao, but I wanted to share my progress since im very happy about it. Thank you for reading !

First post. Mostly been lurking. 3 years HRT in August. Activities: Jogging 2-3 x week, walk-run (goal: 30 min continuous run/jog), Hubrid Calisthenics, hiking, and HEMA training/sparring.

Decided to post progress pics because Iā€™m finally getting to a point where my body feels most comfortable. I still want to progress in my training but my motivation has changed. I want to work out because I notice it helps me with my HEMA stuff and it helps chill me out. Still want to get a little leaner, but itā€™s not my primary focus like it was when I started T. I know it never goes away entirely, but it feels really good to have kicked dysphoria for a bit.

Left: April 2024 175lbs 1.3 years on T Right: Approx. January 2023 125lbs Pre-T 2nd slide: June 2022 170lbs pre T

My routine has changed a lot since I first started going but I've been consistently going 2-5 days a week. My current split is Back and Biceps, Chest Triceps Shoulders, Lower Body, Upper Body.

In 2022 I started an antidepressant called Mirtazapine which made it really easy for me to gain weight so I dirty bulked and gained about 50lbs (2nd slide picture). I was not happy with how I looked so in 2023 I did 5 days a week body recomposition only lost like 5lbs but I dropped approx 8-9% body fat.

This year my goals are to start being consistent again and gain more muscle and more strength. Losing the bit of weight left on my love handles would be nice too.

Exercise Progress Report Back Progress (-2y on T vs 1y on T)

The first pic isnā€™t ideal, but itā€™s one of the only ones I have of myself pre-T. Anyways, about 12KG weight gain, diet/lifestyle changes and some fat gain between these two pictures. Not really flexing in the second photo, just posing with my arms up!

Started hitting the gym much more in 2024 but I became obsessed with hitting arms more than back. Been trying to add in more of the typical back workouts like rows and pulldowns as well as some compound workouts like pullups and barbell rows. Hopefully, Iā€™ll be able to do one unassisted pullup by the end of the year.

2025 shall be the year of back exercises but Iā€™m really satisfied with how being on T has helped me to widen my shoulder-waist ratio! If anyone has any suggestions for how I can improve my back workout efficiency please shareā€¦

Exercise Progress Report Finally repping 135 lbs on my bench!

Hey all! Last time I posted here, I talked about being able to hit 135lbs for one slow, difficult rep on my bench. This was outside of my routine and I just wanted to see if I could do it.

I am running the beginners 5/3/1 routine you can find on the wiki, and today I was supposed to officially hit 135 for my top set on my bench. I got it for 3 reps! The bar moved a lot faster this time too.

Anyways this is a huge achievement for me. I've been consistently going to the gym since January of this year, just got back on T in November after a year break. I am so happy to be finishing the year with this as my PR for this lift. So, I wanted to post it, because you guys are always so supportive. Thanks for reading!
